I am a first time user of this product and found the product to be awesome. I have blonde hair and was nervous about going red. I was born a redhead but could never get a chemical product to hold the red color. This product has been on for two weeks and has not faded one bit. I did the henna treatment twice due to the lightness of my hair color. The second time the coloring was richer and more even. One box was enough for two treatments and my hair is down to the middle of my back.

I use henna for my hair and have for about 12 years. I love it! This is my first time using this brand, and it worked well for me.

This is pure henna powder. I applied it to my hair for a few hours and then washed it off. As you can see in the pictures..it went on like a green paste but then covered up my white hairs quite well. And it conditioned them so they felt soft and looked super shiny. I usually apply it twice for a deeper reddish tint but it did quite well just the first time. The description initially implied it was a mixture of herbs but its just pure henna leaf. I prefer this to other brands in the market. The other brands leave my hair very dried out and not shiny at all. This is more like what I remember. We used to have a henna bush in our home and would pluck the leaves to make a paste and apply it for conditioning hair (and using as henna on hands). This smells/works exactly like that. And last but not the least...it has very nice henna fragrance...not overpowering and fades after a day. Highly recommend

I've been dyeing my hair with henna for around a year now, and this henna provided me with the results that I expected. It turned my naturally dark blonde/light brown hair a lovely red-heavy auburn, and the color is quite vibrant even after many washings. This powder is very finely milled and easy to mix up. I always use lemon juice in henna for a bit more of coppery tones, and to help the color adhere to my strands. This henna also gives the strengthening and conditioning that I expect from henna, and the freshness seemed to be fine. This is good quality, single ingredient henna. You can see from my photos the color it makes and I only used a fraction of the amount the box tells you to use for long hair. Left to brew overnight with 1-2 Tablespoons lemon juice as an acidic agent was all I needed to get good results. I did not use tea or coffee, just plain warm water. The package is a full amount that matches the grams advertised and the powder is fine and easy to mix into paste. Smells fresh. I can make 200 grams last a couple months and I have almost butt length hair. My photos are after about two days of oxidation or darkening and I started with virgin/undyed dirty blond hair. 2-3 hours dying time (the time the henna was left on my hair). The first day, it will look much more orange if you start with light hair.

I dye my hair with henna once a month and have been for decades. I’ve been graying since I was 16 and am sadly deathly allergic to hair dye. Womp womp. So I can tell you this is definitely pure henna. Which is great! We love that. I dyed my hair (just the roots cuz that’s how you do for monthly dyes!) and my grays were really really light at the root. Way lighter than they normally are when I use a different henna brand which is my go to right now. Normally, that means the powdered henna is older. TLDR: you may have to dye your hair more than once with this if you’re covering Grays!

I bought at least 8 different brands of Henna powders before in the past 5 years. This hennaco Herbal Henna Powder is one of the top quality Henna powders. Its color is much greener than the other brand of Henna. The powder is very fine and easy to mix with black tea (plus olive oil and lemon juice). I let the mixture sitting at room temperature on the kitchen counter for 4 hours instead of the instructed 8-10 hours. I l wore nitrile gloves and applied the henna mixer to my hairs and wrapped my head with saran wrap for 6 hours or longer to make the hair color darker and last longer. My gray hairs became shiny red color after I rinsed the henna off with warm water. I don't use shampoo or conditioner for the next few days and the red hair color get a bit darker which I like better. I really like this good quality Henna powder.
