THIS ACTUALLY WORKS
I used to shed so much hair that I cut my hair short just to avoid getting loose strands of hair in my clothes, car, & flooring. Nothing was worse than getting out of the shower on a hot summer day and have strands of hair covering my back, shoulders, and legs! And this was a normal day 🙄. I would lose more hair if I was mentally stressed out or in physical pain. My bed & vacuum cleaner were filled with my hair 🤮. I have tried different types of biotin and eventually had a subscription for Nutrafol, which is very expensive. NOTHING WORKED! Unfortunately my doctor & dermatologist both were not helpful. And neither recommended any prescription medication that would help with severe hair loss. Eventually, I read up on DHT blockers and decided to give it a try. Three months later, I am no longer losing hair in the shower the size of a small mouse. (no joke, after washing my hair and collecting it from the drainage, my hairball fit in the palm of my hand!) I am pleasantly surprised that this product works. In addition, I also take iron, 25,000 mcg of biotin, and a women’s multivitamin daily. The combination of DHT blocker and my daily supplements has helped tremendously.

Dht, folligrow, and the serum
** 30 day update below. **47 day update at bottom **60 day (3/14/23) at bottom. Hairloss is stressful, scary, and heartbreaking so I wanted to provide an early review so others, like myself, can have a bit of a sigh of relief. If you are like me spending hours reading through reviews to see WHEN we can see some type of goodness, then continue reading. I'm on day 14 of Dht blocker and folligrow, and day 4 of the serum. It's too soon for any growth update, but the shedding has drastically reduced. I take them as directed minus with food in the morning as im not hungry at 7am. 15 days ago, my shower drain would be hair clogged within minutes of getting in the shower, now the hair in the drain is about a quarter of what it was. 15 days ago I would brush my hair or run my fingers through it and I would hair hair covering my shirt, the floor, counters, brush/hands, everything. Today, only a few hairs in the brush. I'm very hopeful this product will help. My only issue so far is that if I do take the pills in the evening (5pm or later) I notice I can't fall asleep. I do not drink anything with caffeine in it after 10am anymore so I know it's nothing I'm drinking causing this and the only thing new are these pills. I am currently experimenting with the times I take the second set. I have recently tested my thyroid and found it's very underactive again which is likely causing my hair loss (plus perimenopause). I will keep taking these along with the two other products and update this review at the 30 or 45 day mark. I hope this review helps others looking for signs of hope. I wish more people would leave longer detailed reviews on things like this. 30 days: technically 29 but nothing major will happen overnight LOL I stopped the serum for now because of two things- it's winter and it's super dry in my house so I don't want to wash my hair everyday and have to blow dry it. Kind of defeats the purpose of what I'm doing, and I started red and nir light therapy around day 17. It looks like my wispy short hairs (either breakage or new from before starting this) are getting longer. Shedding is unbelievably less than ever. Like it's been YEARS since I've experienced "normal" shedding. LOL I just woke up and I'm a crazy sleeper. I took my sad, thin little braid out and brushed my hair and there were zero hairs on my shirt and a couple in the brush. My skin looks nicer. Haven't gotten my normal hormonal cystic acne this month but do have a few tzone breakouts - which I normally don't get. I woke up to a lot of dandruff/skin turnover this morning but it could be because I skipped my dandruff shampoo this week. When I blow dried my hair last night, there were a few hairs on the ground, but nothing like before. A month ago, I was like a dandelion in the wind lol Because of all this, I leave my 4 stars. It stopped the shedding, y'all. I mean... that right there is impressive and awesome in itself. I'll be back in a month! **47 days. While my hair is not shedding as stated above, my period this time around lasted 12 days. Mostly spotting but I had to do AM pills only for a week in order for the spotting to stop (foligrow and dht blockers). Idk which one caused the extended bleeding if either of them did. I've also noticed that these seem to constipate me a bit. I thought I just had to get used to them but when I lowered the dose my BMs were more frequent again. Now I'm back too tiny to no BMs, then clogged, then a full day or two of stomach aches and bathroom runs. Sigh. I have another period coming up this week. If I bleed longer again, I will have to cut back both and hope it doesn't mess up my progress. My hair does seem fuller (to me) and is growing in length quicker it seems. I honestly don't think I see new growth, but I do have hairs ranging from a quarter inch to half inch all over the top of my head. I feel these may just be breakage hairs growing out? I would think any NEW growth would be just starting to pop out now or soon. **60 days Stopped dht blocker a few days ago due to excessive bleeding. I'm still taking the foligrow vitamins and I'm hoping it's enough to keep the hair growth. Within the last week I've really noticed a ton of 1cm hairs all over my head. I uploaded a photo of my part and I feel like there's a pretty decent difference in the two. My hair feels thicker and looks fuller. Fingers crossed the vitamins are enough to keep the growth going.

Baby hairs sprouting!!!
This stuff works. I've been on it for a few months. Idk how long I can't remember lol. But I swear it works. I can't believe it! I only take 2 pills instead of 4 because it was making me feel kind of emotional and sad with the full dosage. 2 pills has been plenty. I've got baby hairs sprouting up everywhere. I hope it keeps working! I'm beyond excited.

100% Honest Review + Total Transparency
My 100% Honest Review with Total Transparency- I bought this when I noticed my hair was starting to fall out in extraordinary amounts. I remember when it began Jan 28, and I’m talking bags and bags of hair that have falling. Ever seen the movie, The Craft? Remember when the popular blonde girl was being so mean to one of the girls in the coven and she puts a spell that makes all the blonde girls hair fall out. After their swim meet, in the locker room the girl from the coven finds the blonde girl sitting in the shower sobbing... She’s 90% bald. While touching her falling hair she says to the witch, “It just keeps falling out!” Okay, my situation isn’t That bad, but that’s how I felt, since it has been falling out in clumps, every time I wash it, when it never had before. Like most, I made things worse by going online looking for probable causes, which only made me more stressed out, but my dermatologist appt. was two weeks away, and I couldn't just wait around without trying to do Something about it. The thing about hair loss is that there are a number is reasons causing it to fall... So, I jumped the gun before a diagnosis. C’mon guys, I’m only human! Enter Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker w/ Immune Support- yes, it’s ok the pricey side, but if that’s a concern, keep in mind- they come with a 100% satisfactory guarantee or your money back. PLUS, inside their bottle is a generous offer upon registering for a free bottle of their other products. **NOTE WHAT I REALLY APPRECIATE ABOUT THIS IS THAT THE OFFER IS NOT IN EXCHANGE FOR A 4+ STAR REVIEW. So, know that’s NOT why I’m writing this..... They recommend taking 4 per day, which I couldn’t do. They were hard on MY tummy w/o food. I dry heaved a couple times immediately after taking two in the morning w/o food, but I PERSONALLY have a sensitive stomach, and because of my situation, my stomach was already in knots regardless. After eating in the afternoon I’d take two and I’d try to take one more at night as well- and my tummy didn’t hurt. Then I saw my doctor... she prescribed me Spironolactone, (a diuretic for high blood pressure that also helps hair loss by fighting androgens). Which I assumed would work immediately. It actually can take up to 3-6 months to start working, and that’s only IF your hair is falling out due to DHT and/or Androgenic Alopecia, but my doctor says that mine is falling due to some serious emotional stress that lasted several months a couple months ago. I asked her if I should continue taking the supplements and she said that although it wouldn’t hurt, if I was struggling to take the recommended dosage (4 pd), then I probably shouldn’t, since it most likely won’t help my personal situation. She said, “You can take as many supplements as you want and your hair will still fall because you’re too stressed out.” She suggested meditation, 20 minutes of daily sun exposure (since I’m D3 deficient) and she urged me to eliminate refined sugars processed foods from my diet, and drink plenty of organic homemade bone broth. So, I can’t say that Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker works, but not because it isn’t a quality supplement, but because My hair loss isn’t due to high levels of DHT, and since my tummy is extra sensitive right from from stress, it’s unable to tolerate supplements. I believe that this is a quality supplement. Its highly recommended by many both on and off Amazon. So, I’d say it’s definitely worth trying, especially if your hair loss is DHT related. However, I advise getting bloodwork done first and a diagnosis prior to taking anything, especially since supplementing can deliver inaccurate lab results, especially if you don’t tell your doctor exactly what you’re taking. It’s crazy to think how far science has come... couples can decide what color eyes they want their child to have, through genetic modification. If you have $5,000, you can permanently change your eye color from brown to blue or from brown to green through a non-invasive 30 second procedure that’s similar to Lasik eye surgery, and yet science still hasn’t been able to cure hair loss! Until then, I’m grateful for company’s like Advanced Trichology for providing us with much needed hope.

Good for the Gut, but not for High Testosterone...
I just wanted to say that this product is 'good' but does not work exactly how it is advertised. I first bought this exact treatment through Amazon and then switch over to the actual Trichology website and continued my treatment through there. I bought about 4 containers of the supplements and I would have to say that it did not work for me in the way that I wanted it to - throughout those 4 months. It's crazy because I feel like a lot of young adults are suffering from hair loss. Some people being affected at different ages and at different rates. I first began to notice that I was losing hair around my hairline at the age of 22 years old. It is basically androgenic alopecia which is one of the most common types of hair loss. Anyway, I have always had a full set of hair, as well as people in the family tree having a good set of hair as well. My dad is close to his late 50's and he still has hair. My older brother who is about 32 years old still has full hair and actually has overgrowth of hair in his hairline. No one from my moms side of the family suffers from hair loss either, as they are often told that they have good hair genes, and if I can show you all, I would, but that would be showing pictures of them which I will not due to their privacy. Anyway, I wondered why I was losing hair at 22 years old if that was uncommon in my family. I am close to being 25 years old and I come to find out, I have high levels of testosterone which I guess it makes sense. I feel like I actually suffer from it too, as I tend to have a lot of body hair, it is not crazy but can get that way. I am the only male in my family who also has a full set of beard. I work out from time to time but I am not always consistent and I do seem to grow muscle pretty quickly as well. Not only that, but I have a fast metabolism which can relate to high testosterone. I also suffer from insomnia which actually makes me feel like that is one of the main reasons as to why I am also losing hair. I do tend to stress a lot which can be another factor, which is also embarrassing because I have grey hairs on certain areas, whereas no one in my family does. I was told by my doctor that I was low on Vitamin D which can also relate to hair loss. I have been taking supplements for that as well but I am not sure if they are working, also from the same company / brand. It may seem like I am venting but I am just describing my symptoms and why I decided to use Trichology. I have been derma stamping for almost one year, and sometimes apply rosemary, castor oil or aloe vera on my scalp which I feel like it has helped me since other friends who are losing hair around their hairline seem to have a more noticeable scalp retaining to androgenic alopecia, and do not use those products. But even with the fact that I took this for four months, I am still noticing hair loss around my sides and hairline. I feel as if this product did not work the way that it should have. Having to take 4 capsules a day can be a bit too much and can be a hassle since the price on these products may be overwhelming after some time. Not only that, but sometimes the person taking these pills may forget or have to carry these capsules everywhere they go. To take in the morning and in the night. It's weird because I feel like after 3 months, I noticed more shedding and what not, which makes me feel like it either is working slightly but in reality, I have taken pictures throughout those 4 months and I am still noticing more and more hair loss. It' sucks because I feel like the main ingredients that help block DHT are not enough for me. I will now have to result and try Finasteride as my next option. Only because it is stronger and may have a better outcome in the shedding. If that does not work then Dutasteride may be the solution but, I do not think I need that yet since I have made sure that I still take care of my hair, hence why it took about 3 years for my hairline to recede. I have done a lot of research on hair loss and am still learning as I go on the way. The reason why I decided to rate it 3 stars is because I admire the idea that this helps with Probiotic Immune Support. As mentioned earlier, I have a fast metabolism so it is quite difficult for me to gain weight. That may be a good thing to some but not for me... And during the time that I took these capsules, my stomach felt much better. I would not have quick bowel movements, I had less pain in my stomach area, and I felt like I was able to eat just about anything without having to feel worried about any pain related symptoms due to my bowel movements, basically like constipation, gas, or acid refluxes. It is also said that what you eat can affect the way your hair is too, that is exactly why Trichology even has this exact product to begin with. Long story short, if you have high testosterone or feel like you do, I would say that this company may not be for you and you may be better off with a stronger DHT Blocker.

This single-handedly destroyed what was left of my self-esteem…
Worrying about losing your hair in high school is something I wish upon nobody, I was mocked for having a ‘bald spot’ which made me more self-cautious than ever. I go on TikTok to find ways to help prevent further hair loss in the future and it was said that DHT blockers are vital for growth. I trusted it, and so my first mistake was going on Amazon rather than consulting my dermatologist… I started taking the pills, and I notice my skin starts breaking out, I didn’t connect the dots at first as I thought it was just acne caused by stress because prom and graduation was right around the corner. Ignoring the red flags I continued taking these and it was the worst mistake I could have ever made when it came to my physical appearance, it was time for graduation and my skin looked horrendous. I had found out that my ‘acne’ was actually dermatitis caused by these pills, it took so long for me to find out because this medication encourages ‘inflammation’ to promote hair growth. If you’re prone to seborrheic dermatitis or atopic dermatitis I highly suggest you invest in alternative products instead of this, because these will do nothing but add on to your insecurities and make you feel as if you’re the most ugliest creature to face this planet. And to add insult to injury, the entire 3 months of taking this medication I saw and noticed nothing when it came to my hair. I was left with nothing but disappointment and anxiety about my overall appearance. Thanks to these, I feel the need to stay home and isolate myself from seeing anyone because of what I look like. Worst investment I’ve ever made, there’s definitely better methods out there to keep your hair. Just don’t trust corporations like Amazon to help with that, consult a profession and don’t follow what everyone else does on social media because we all go through things differently. The solution someone may provide could possibly not work for everyone, but I just want to spread awareness for people who suffer from fragile skin genetics such as myself.

Help w/ GLP1 hair loss
I’ve been struggling with hair loss lately while using tirzepatide (it’s from the weight loss, not the drug itself) but I saw someone suggest this on TikTok. I’ve also been using Rogaine for the past month or so but I feel like THIS has been helping a lot with the hair falling out. I normally would get clumps coming out in the shower which is such a bummer and gives me so much anxiety but now it’s basically back to normal. I’d say I’ve been on this dht blocker for about 2 weeks but I’m really happy with the results especially as a woman who LOVES my hair 😭
