Oh my gosh, I have this on my fireplace. It is gorgeous because I hang a lot of things like this on my fireplace, and this horse is in the middle with all of the other wind chimes that I use. And when people come in, even my daughter, she goes, I like the horse. I mean, I have eagles, I have a lot of things, but this horse is beautiful. I love it.

I hung this in the tree under which my beloved horse is buried. It's beautiful. The soft chimes are soothing, they're easy to chime with even a slight wind, the quality of the chimes is very good, easy to hang, and has kept it's brightness even through the hot texas sun or rain (hurricanes!) It's wind resistant hook kept it in the tree against all odds!

I was thinking it would be made as better material but a cheap plastic. That is the reason it doesn't have the sound chimes.It is a very beautiful piece hanging there

I bought this as a gift to a friend who had to put her heart horse down due to sudden illness. I visited her place shortly after and saw it hanging in the garden area where they buried him. It has a lovely chime to it; not too much in-your-face sound. Not the tinny noise that makes you crazy, but certainly not the deep booiinngg you hear with the bigger, deeper pipes. A gentle reminder of her friend when the breeze blows

The quality is better then I thought it would be. The box looked so small I was afraid it would dwarf this wind chime compared to my larger ones. But it actually is a nice size and stands on it's own. As some of the other posts stated itdoesn't make sounds as easily as my larger Corinthian wind chimes YET those cost a lot more and are shaped differently. I just wanted something different to add to my wind chime collection and this did the trick. Plus I love horses! Once I hear it ring with the wind I will update. But overall I am happy with my purchase. Now hoping it will withstand Southern California weather. Sure the horse riders along the bridal path behind my yard will enjoy it too!UPDATE: If you want ringing wind chimes then these may not be for you. All my other wind chimes make sounds but this one so far nothing. But I am fine with that because I love the look of it plus I have six other wind chimes that all make music.
