Very similar to a popular Swedish brand at a fraction of the cost. As long as you won't be moving it regularly, it will do its job as a shelf. Not quite as sturdy as the brand name alternative, but definitely satisfactory performance for this price point.

I never write reviews, but I was moved to do so for this product because it was an aboslute waste of money. What parts of the bookshelf I could put together were unstable and wobbly, but most egregiously, the predrilled holes were so unaligned that I couldn't even put insert the middle shelves. The particle board was flimsy and split almost immediately when you tried to put in the wooden pegs that were meant to hold the shelves in place. This product was so bad it was almost comical, especially for the relatively hefty price tag.Returning it and getting my money back was almost a month long affair- they argued against the refund at first claiming that because I received the product, they had fulfilled their part. Several back and forths with customer service later, they agreed to refund me, but required I ship the product back to them. Of course they provided a unpaid shipping label. More back and forths with Amazon customer service- I was assured that because the product was delivered defective (I literally couldn't put it together due to the unaligned predrilled holes!) I would be refunded the price of shipping it back once I sent in a receipt. Shipping it back cost me $198.58! When I presented my receipt (per the instructions I was given!) the seller refused to pay it. After literally calling and complaining every 3 days for almost an entire month, I finally just accepted an amazon gift card in the amount that I paid for shipping and let the whole thing die. As of my last email with the shipper, they were still refusing to refund my shipping fee and showed 0 remorse for sending such a shoddy product or the headache that getting my money back for it caused.If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Stay away from this terrible product and this terrible company!!!!!!

good delivery, a tad hard to assemble, i had to assemble in a entire different order than the instructions given due to pieces falling over. the wooden joints were too small to keep pieces together. Overall pretty piece, kinda sturdy, no damage to any materials which is good.

For a particle board cube organizer, I was very happy with the quality of this product. It's heavy, easy to assemble, and looks nice. Bought it to install in a small closet for more efficient storage.

Putting it together was a labor of love. Essentially, the boards are held together by bunch of wooden dowels and screws. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great because there aren’t a bunch of obvious screws. However, one complaint is the cheap stickers that do cover the few screws you can see. Once together, it looks like a lovely, solid piece of furniture. I used wicker cube baskets for the bottom squares.

Big sturdy somewhat way to assemble but worth the money it's just what I need'd.

I have purchased and put together a lot of shelves and cabinets. I have never been as disappointed in the quality as I am with this one. The paint chips off easily, the holes are over drilled, the dowels are not very strong and break easily. The weak dowels are the only thing holding the dividers in the middle, so if your looking to set it up with two cubes across, it won't hold much weight. While I know they would have sent more dowels, it would not have changed the quality. This package weighs 51 pounds, and you have to pay for the return shipping. The shipping costs more than the product is worth. I was excited about this product at first, but now I wish I had never purchased it.

The shelf is beautiful but not nearly as sturdy as expected. After only 1 day of use the joints are already starting to spread apart. Because I purchased it for light duty work I am hoping it won't continue to separate but time will tell. Also, when putting the unit together, one of the plugs that hold the shelves together broke. An additional plug was included in the kit. Overall, not the quality that I expected.
