When playing as a group, we turn it into a fun race to spell as many words as possible based on the dice roll—so many options for play! The bright, colorful pictures on the cards are a wonderful touch and really help bring the words to life. Multiple ways to use these as a game. Great for sounding out words, using the wood tiles to fill in the missing letter as well as creating a crossword puzzle. My 6 yo grandsons love all the ways to play and their spelling skills and reading skills are improving greatly. Very durable and variety of words they hear all the time and now can read and spell.

The detail of different colors made it easy for my four year old to spell. He knew what block to get just by looking at the color of the letters on the card and blocks. This is such a useful tool for those who are starting to read. There are two card slots for the flash cards- one where the letters are visible and one where the letters are hidden. I can make it difficult as my child progresses by hiding the letters on the flash cards. The wooden blocks feel high quality. It reminds me of Hape wooden blocks. I like that there are two levels of difficulty in the flash card words as well. And the cards are thick. It also comes with a bag for easy storage. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I am considering of giving this as a gift as well.

We have used this often already. We have done individual set ups,” Olympic team trials”, grab a cube contests, etc. Our 8 and 6 year old are having fun while reinforcing spelling.
