I travel a LOT and this travel pillow has been a lifesaver! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. When I received the package, I blew it up. It takes about 6-8 really deep breaths, and deflates so easily and quickly. I don't like the neck roll pillows, because it messes up my C-Spine. On a recent 9 hr flight, I blew this up and set it on my tray table, put my face in and slept for over 3 hours straight! Only woke up because it was time to eat. This keeps your spine and neck straight, so it helped me a lot. I will never take a long flight without this in my carry-on! Some reviews mentioned a strong odor, but mine was fine. I blew it up upon arrival. There was a new plastic smell, but I let it sit out for a few days. No odor, no problems. It holds the air well, also. I am 5'9" (with a long torso) so, I do need the tray table in order for it to fit my height. But with the tray table open, it's fine.

Quite disappointed with this. It’s a good product but sizing is an issue. I purchased this for a flight pillow only to realize in flight that this is made for kids or petite people. Essentially if you are above 5’5 this would not be practically useable. It’s a good product for the price but perhaps they need to specify size more so than simply point out dimensions. I thought it would be a good size but when I placed on the airplane seat tray the hole for my head did not even get to my chin! Disappointed and bummed I missed the return window.

Bought this for a recent long haul flight. The design let me curl forward while sitting upright, fold my arms in front of me, bury my face in the pillow without discomfort (and while still being able to breathe and hear what was going on around me), and fall asleep. It also provides an airbag should the passenger in the seat in front of you slam their seat backward while you are using the pillow. It's a little tricky to decompress completely - hold the valve open and roll, roll, roll and you can get it back in its sack (no thanks, it'll just go in the suitcase without the sack). I'm a minimalist packer but this will come with me on overnight flights in the future.

It looks like it should work well. There are many cutouts and many ways you can rest on the device. However, I could never find a comfortable position with my testing of the device on my desk. I tried every angle. I tried different levels of inflation. But, it was all to no avail. It never leaked over the course of a month. When inflated, it is very large and bulky. I was unwilling to take it on a plane unless I could successfully test it.

I am an insomniac and thinking about a flight that is over three hours makes me want to cry. So when I saw this i ordered it right away. I haven't used it on a plane yet, but so far: It blows up fast, like 1 1/2 minutes. It comes in a small carrying pouch, it needs to be aired out for a day or so to get rid of that plastic smell, I am 5'9" and it can be used on my lap, but i will most likely use the seat-back table. The fabric is nice enough, the hole for your face will work, but I think it should be outlined with a more comfortable fabric. And I'm sure you will get some chuckles when you wake up and have a ring imprinted on your face. But who cares if you were able to sleep right! I have high hopes for this product, we'll see...

This past month i went on a trip for 21 days around europe, on my first trip the pillow worked perfectly it did the job my boyfriend was even jealous becausr i was able to sleep perfectly on a 8 hour fly to madrid. But everything went south when on my second flight from madrid to barcelona on the middle of my sleep the pillow started to loose the air , i said oh maybe the pressure of the airplane is making this to happen , i give it a second try and inflated it again the same thing happen so i just gave up . On my third fly from barcelona to paris i decided to inflate the pillow way before getting into the airplane and the pillow just started to loose the air and then i realize the pillow had a little hole were the air was coming out i was only able to use it for one flight , i had to buy a new pillow at the airport :( ... thats why i give one start to the pillow it just broke after one flight very dissapointing

Got this pillow in preparation for our international flight. It was not too hard to fill it, probably took me 2-3minutes total. I like the valve design that traps the air in there as I blow into it. Once it's filled with air, it is pretty sturdy and I tried to sleep on it with my face down on the couch to see how well it works. I do think it gives me a lot of support and will help prevent my neck and shoulder pain during flight sleeps.

Guys. If you’re not embarrassed in public by anything then this thing is for you. It looks a little silly but who cares. It is by FAR the best sleep I ever had on a plane. Blows up really easily and deflated easily as well. No weird smell. SO comfortable and not bulky. Buy this thinf
