Very well manufactured adapter
This is a very well made adapter and connects my Miranda mount lenses smoothly onto the Sony NEX mount cameras. Delivery also was very fast, considering transit was from USA to UK. I have no complaints and unhesitatingly give 5 stars.

Joined my celeston spotting scope to my sony a6000 camera.
I bought the , T2/T-Mount Lens to Sony NEX E-mount to be able to fit my Sony a6000 on to my celeston 80 mm spotting scope. It works just fine. The adapter fits to the camera body in place of a lens. The threaded part screws to the top of the scope eyepiece. It doesn't look like it fits to start with until you realize you need to pull off the rubber eye piece to reveal the threaded part. The adapter had three small grub screws that let you adjust the position of the adapter relative to the scope eye piece so the camera lines up with the scope. With this set up you find the camera has to have the lense release setting to work. Also at 20x zoom the image doesn't fill the camera view so you get a circular outer black disk. This is removed by zooming in a bit to around 30x zoom on the scope eye piece. You need to use manual focus on the scope. I had fun taking a few pictures with this and got good range.

Great price, perfect fit
Great adapter, fits old FD lenses to Sony A7 cameras very well. There is no undue over-tightness or even lose, just perfect. There is a sliding switch 'open-lock' as you can see. Make sure you put that as open when you fit the lens. After the lens is fitted, then turn to lock to be able to adjust the aperture on the lens. Otherwise the aperture will be open permanently and will be at the brightest setting. I have used an adapter from some other brand before for a different lens mount and that was too tight compared to this one.

Excellent piece of kit, works a treat.
Use this on a Sony A7S and A6000 with my Olympus 28mm, 50mm and 135mm lenses. It works a treat and focus peaking makes it easy to nail the shots 9 times out of 10. Made of tough plastic, doesn't seem as tough as say Metabones but it's a fraction of the price and works fine. Best used in Aperture prioritybor full manual mode, you have to set the camera to "release without lens" and the camera gives no aperture reading, just "F_ _" but you set the aperture on the lens and the camera changes shutter speed accordingly in Aperture and you can change it up yourself in Manual to get the right exposure.

Good iten as described!
I liked very much the quality of the adapter, the quality of the materials, its solid. I use it in a nex-c3 and with a tamron 80-210 not a small lens and it do the job. Its not a defect more of an option that i would like to have. In the same way the adapter locks to the camera body, i would like that the adapter had a lock for the lens. This are old lens and sometimes the focus and aperture rings are not smooth, sometimes i turn the zoom barel and the lens unscrew from the adapter. Its not fault from the adapter, its because the lens is old and sometimes it stuck zooming, with a lock in the adapter for the lens, that wouldnt happen. A spot for the tripod would also be great for the big lens. This two aspects are simple wishes, improvements not defects. When need for more adapters for other lenses i would check fotodiox first, the quality has i said earlier is great.

Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter, Nikkor Lens to Sony Alpha NEX Camera, fits Sony NEX-5 / 5N / 5R / 5T and NEX-7
Fast delivery from US, well packaged and competitively priced at £32.96. I have ordered 2 of these adaptors with an intent to buy 2 more at the later stage. These adaptors are the latest offering from Fotodiox and they seem to be very well made, nice weight and a quality finish. The aperture lock ring [intended for use with Nikkor G range of A/F lenses] works smoothly across the full aperture range. both interfaces fit smoothly and without play when locked in. The lens lock has that nice positive click, when the lens is locked. I use 3 NEX 5N / 5R cameras with 13 of my old Nikkor manual and A/F lenses, some purchased way back in 1975 .... and unlike the cheaper adapters supplied from Chinese or Hong Kong outlets ... this adapter actually does allow Nikkor lenses to focus at infinity. A friend of mine has the latest NEX to Nikkor Novoflex adapter, that costs 5x as much as the Fotodiox adapter and I would be a liar if I said that Novoflex adapter is not better made. But the difference in weight and in workmanship is very subtle and it is definitely not worth the ridiculous price hike.

It works.
No problems on an A7rII with a Miranda mount Sankyo Kokhi High Speed lens. Infinity, no problem.

Value for Money
Considering the bellows withstood horrendous packaging and handling they remained in good condition. The bellows contract and expand smoothly and the materials appear to be of decent quality. I have yet to test them in all respects but so far I'm satisfied that they represent value for money. The state in which they arrived was nothing short of horrifying. The outer packaging was a flimsy plastic bag. The box that contained the item had no foam cushioning nor otherwise and was damaged so badly I feared for the product. It says much of the product that they survived intact.

Does exactly as described. I had purchased a much shorter T-Mount adapter to mount some old T-Mount lenses to my Sony a6000. Unfortunately, that mount didn't work. It was too short, meaning my lenses wouldn't focus at all. I picked this one up and it works great with my old T-Mount lenses. ALL now focus properly and I can shoot some neat pics with old glass. Quality wise, this is a very nice, solid mount. It feels like it was milled and it's very nicely finished off. Has a good weight to it and doesn't feel cheap at all. The threads are done right, no gunk in them and they match the lenses properly. All in all, very nice quality for something at this price point. Very well done!

Good quality, easy to fit. I used it with Sony kit lens sel 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 with the help of step up filter ring since the lens had smaller filter diameter. It gave amazing results.

One of the best values I've ever found in my 50 years as a photog enthusiast. Spent $59 and saved the value of three very fine Olympus OM lenses. My OM wide and normal lenses work superbly. My telephoto zoomer works well but has a little trouble reading light accurately when the camera is first turned on. Given a little time, it then snaps in with the correct exposure. Focusing is quite accurate with all three lenses. Extending the life of these excellent well build pro-quality lenses is well worth a little minor inconvenience. I own the Sony a6000, which has very little shutter lag, and with my OM lenses in manual operation has zero lag. There are cheaper adapters, but this one is solid and the lenses snap right in nicely.
