I teach sailing and always recommend this book to my students. It is a great accompaniment to the NauticEd online classes. The book is written in very clear english and contains numerous exercises that students can practice to master sailboat handling. The illustrations are extremely well done and clearly illustrate each of the talking points made by the author. Unlike other books on the topic, Grant includes QR barcodes that, when scanned with your smartphone, provide short videos that further help visualize the points being made. The combination of NauticEd e-based training, this book which is a great product on its own and the illustrated videos make learning these techniques easy to understand and memorable.
