My main dissatisfaction is that the construction is not as good as claimed for instance the hinges are of poor quality soft steel and bukle making it unstable and have been fitted up side down so countersunk screws cannot seat properly. And now the ultimate criticism, whats the use of being heatproof if a small amount of water residue after wiping top dry remains between the leaf and top and swells and distorts the top surface see pic. If chip board is the underlying construction material and it is subject to comtact with liquid then prior to laminating it must be infused with a waterproofing medium. This product has poor quality hardware installed upside down so the coutersink holes are on the wrong side and the chipboard carcass has not been waterproofed. Poor Quality!Update:- just removed the two tops clamped the swelling down and varnished all MDF edges to prevent further swellings, now swelling not apparent and OK to soak when cleaning so I’ve upped *z from1 to 3.

Drop leaf dining tables at a reasonable price are hard to find. This one is sturdy, a nice modern design, a good size for our small dining area and the 'Natural' colour-way we chose compliments our existing light oak furniture. It can be used by just two people with one leaf raised, by four people comfortably with both leaves raised and by six at a push. It packs away tidily when not in use. Good value for money, very pleased with our purchase.

Very pleased with this purchase. Delivery was very quick , arrived earlier than quoted.Well packaged and protected.We wanted something for our conservatory that could be folded down when not in use, this is ideal.Sturdy and nicely made , with an attractive finish , ideal for the times when you need some more table space.Nice to buy something that is already assembled.I would recommend this highly

This table is the best, good quality, well made. The table arrived ahead of schedule, very well packaged to prevent damage in transit, although I must say that the delivery driver took a lot of care unloading and bringing to the door. A small table was required for a garden room, this is perfect as it can be used folded for a coffee and snack, one leaf open for two people with loads of room, or fully open for the children at Christmas so they can eat away from the adults ! Cannot fault this table, it looks good and is good. Cannot recommend highly enough. Delighted.

This a bit belated. I have now had this product for about 6 weeks. It is one of the most beautifully designed pieces of furniture I have seen or used. It is not often a product is more than perfect. The best way I can describe it is as the satisfying click of precision engineering or the delight of almost anything that makes your day. Very well packaged, and I think the makers must be very proud of this item. Though lacking any kind of frill or twirly bits, it has presence. Well done.Rider. I know nothing about this company and do not have shares!!

The build is solid, materials fine. Came very well packaged to prevent scratches or other damage.The only thing is, when unfolded, the leg does not fix in place. There's a plastic stopper so it's ok, but I guess there's a chance of accidentally pushing it back (say, by a kid) so the the top would fall quickly and hurt them.Overall, the table is very good.

Excellent service, very quick delivery. We are very happy with our new table fits lovely into our space we have in out flat. Any one looking for a small dining table this is a excellent well made,very sturdy and has good weight to it but still easy to move about. Easily fit up to 6 people if you have guests for a meal. We would definitely use the company again for the service and products.
