This is by far the best car iPhone charger. This product is so great. I bought two. It carries my heavy, Iphone Pro plus without shaking and the magnet is very strong even when I hit my brakes hard. Very recommended.

Snaps into place like it knows what it’s doing. Doesn’t wobble, doesn’t slide, and makes driving with navigation a whole lot smoother. Minimal design, maximum grip. No complaints here.

I think every car should have it, but there is some concern about it's price

The style and quality is great the magnetic holder on iPhone probe max is great holds really well. The mount bends to suit installation but all this good stuff is let down by the fact that the Velcro fixing see not strong enough to hold a large phone such as iPhone pro max. Eventually weight of phone leverages Velcro fitting of the dash or surface connected to. Tried two pads different locations different material on dash same result. So looking good does not count when it fails at main purpose

My car is old so only had 2Amp USB-A port which didn’t have enough power to keep the phone charging, so needed to buy a USB car cig port charger to power the Baseus. Went with a QC3.0 supporting car charger with USB-A port so I could use the included Baseus cable. Just make sure you know what you get with non Apple wireless chargers for iPhones. 7.5W max charging on iPhones. This Baseus product with identical design is sold as Philips brand in some countries with positive reviews so I’m sure it’s just a rebrand and identical product. The negative reviews mention mostly the Velcro adhesion process and removal if the position needs to be removed. These reviews actually helped me to be very careful when sticking the adhesive on and carefully choosing the position. Positive reviews mention mostly strong MagSafe magnet strength and charging function. With a *Certified MagSafe case (mine is a Cygnett one) and normal iPhone I can fully agree. Lots of feedback on all MagSafe car mounts say they struggle with the weight of the largest Max size iPhones, I can’t comment on this but the magnet is strong with certified case so you can try. First I test positioned just the arm and bent it into the position I wanted, exactly where I wanted the charger to be in front of the vent and made sure where the Velcro adhesive would go on the dash above it was a nice flat area for the adhesive. The arm has some kind of slowly flexible but durable metal inside and once it is bent into shape still feels very rigid and sturdy. The good thing about this design is the charging circle can be bent into position in front of the AC vent to keep it cool (heat is the enemy of efficient wireless charging), but not put any stress on the vent slats which I heard other mounts can snap because all the weight of the phone+charger+mount is on the Vent. Once I desided on the position I cleaned all the dust from the area where the adhesive Velcro would go with a damp cloth and waited for it to dry overnight (6 hours is probably enough but I did it during evening). Once it’s dry I velcroed the adhesive velcro onto the arm first, then removed the white paper from adhesive then position where I decided before by pushing down evenly and holding pressure on the adhesive part for about 60 seconds (same method I use for all the 3M command strips). It is very important you bend the arm and choose the charger position exactly before you attach it with adhesive, because if you want to move the position of the adhesive afterwards, or decide to bend the arm into a different position afterwards you can run into problems with adhesive coming off the dashboard or actual arm according to some reviews. I never had such problems by lining everything up and attaching it carefully. there is also two Velcro adhesive included in the box if anything does go wrong, giving you another chance. Or if in the future you decide you want to attach it to another car, you have a spare Velcro adhesive so you can. 🙂 Once I got the QC3.0 car charger (cigarette socket charger) the Baseus wireless charger works perfectly and charges as long as the phone is on the mount. After starting the car the Baseus turns on straight away, has a subtle blue ring of light glowing fading in and out so you can find it easily. When charging the light spins around in a circle but it’s not visible with your phone on it so it can’t distract you when you drive. (Worth mentioning the first time I plugged the cable into the car charger first and started the car, it didn’t turn on (the charger). I think the first time you use a cig charger you need to star the car with nothing plugged in, then plug the cable in while the car is running) The charger and phone stay very stable during driving. I even hit a pot hole and it stayed on. I curved it over the dash and same angle as the vent so it faces my face and Face ID works fine. I closed the vent behind the charger by two thirds just so it wasn’t making it freezing cold. Cooling is good but I thought too much AC cooling might cause problems over time. I have no issues with the Velcro or adhesive holding due to careful application. because the arm is curved against the dash holding some of the weight, I think the arm just has mostly forward and back motion to deal with. The Velcro keeps attached properly and it hasn’t moved at all. I couldn’t be more happy with how it functions. iPhone shows the circle charging animation when attached, great! If anything I would take 0.4 stars off because I needed to get a separate cig socket car charger because my car is too old, but that’s not the products fault I know wireless chargers use more power than wired. 4.6 stars so basically 5 stars. my rating is 5/5. With careful application this is a great designed MagSafe wireless charger. Make sure you get a MagSafe certified case if you want the strongest magnetic strength. Doesn’t have to be a Apple case there are a few Certified cases you can get from other brands.
