Paddington Collector's Quintet: 5 Fun-Filled Stories in 1 Box! (I Can Read Level 1)

I absolutely love this series! It would be even better if they released stories at different language levels. I’m a huge fan of the illustrations—they’re fantastic. It’s such a pity that it’s hard to find other books with a similar style for children to read.

They're not the original stories, but my two year old loves them nevertheless. The box is useless and got thrown out right away, but the books are well made and sturdy enough. The stories are simple and fun and innocent and pretty good. I would know because I have read each of them aloud at least 50 times. The pictures are clear and pleasant, with enough stuff going on in the background that you can find something new to talk about each time through.

I bought three sets of these to give out as favors for a bear themed 4 year old birthday party. Instead of getting plastic trinkets that would be instantly thrown away, I thought these would be more meaningful. In each favor bag, I put one book, a sparkly pen, and a bag of Teddy Graham snacks. I kept one set for my own 4-year-old, who loves these stories, and still likes to read them from time to time.

I enjoy reading the Paddington Bear books to our toddler grandson. The stories are cute and give children something to think about and consider what they would do in Paddington's situation. The illustrations are lovely and very colorful.

Perfect story length not too short, not too long. Depth of story is good.

My grandson loves Paddington and was thrilled to see he could read these books. This is the perfect gift for a child whose learning how to read. Love the (I can read series).

Gotta love Paddington! But honestly a lot of the delight is gone from the stories when they're simplified this way to be easy readers, and yet these readers are not that easy at all! Lots of difficult vocabulary. They were frustrating to my early reader. I think more recently published easy readers are a lot more effective at drawing in early readers with the right ratio of familiarity and challenge. Donated these to the library.

Bought several sets (great price for FIVE books) and gave one in each take-home birthday bag for 20 plus preschoolers who attended a birthday party at the movie theater watching Paddington 2 - the Movie. Children were all thrilled to get a book as a present.

Hikayeler çok eğlenceli. Kızım sevdi. Cumleler basit yapıda ve genelde tanıdık kelimeler var. Hediyelik için de iyi bir seçenek.

Cute stories, but I wouldn’t say this is way more difficult than level 1. I will put them away for a while under my early ready can read the big words, but I am so happy to have a good, sweet, classic character that doesn’t overstimulate the young minds.
