My boys were so excited to finally have this kit for Christmas to use with their legos. Everything seemed to be fine until we opened one of the power units and the white wire fell out. It wasn’t connected and the red one seemed to be pretty loose as well. I still gave 3 stars because everything else was fine, including packaging but it did kind of suck to have one of the power units not be usable. Edit: I want to commend this seller on providing excellent and prompt customer service. They tried to send a replacement but since they weren’t able to, I was able to get a refund. I appreciate their prompt response and willingness to rectify the situation.

As a Lego fan, I've bought several Lego motor sets but this is definitely the most fun, the parts are complete and fulfill all my creative needs. Good enough quality, no complaints. The train motor was an unexpected surprise, the wheels and axle come with it, and once assembled you can control it with a remote. I often use it to tease my kitten, it's very funny! The parts kit included small screwdrivers, which helped me open the battery case more easily, which is commendable! The instructions are detailed, but you need to create them through your imagination rather than relying on the instructions. The packaging is beautiful and would make a great gift!

Came with absolutely no directions, didn’t fit the train that we wanted to use it for and we couldn’t get the remote to work ever! Don’t waste your money - just get the Lego brand (which ended up working perfectly)

This fit perfectly with a Lego build, and I can't wait to use more of the set! Checked every part when I first got it, and all parts work well. My first power function type motors, and I'll likely be buying another set very soon. 5 out of 5 stars, especially considering official Lego parts would be $140-$150+.

I won't go into too much details. I have only tested this set a little. This is a generic brand version of the optional add on pieces to make your Technic style building brick set able to be remote controlled. Everything that is needed and then some. Not sure about all the pieces yet, may not be able to test some of these because of not having the type they go into. Remote works just fine, only a little lag and not as long distance for transmission. I normally only showcase my builds but this really helps make these items more enjoyable. Have kids coming over, let them play with your building brick set build by taking the unit outside and let them play. This may inspire more people to get into this hobby.

The product does require a lot of batteries but after conversing with the seller I was given a brilliant suggestion as to how my 7 year old should be best use the product and we are able to happily maximize the usage this item and he is able to be creative over and over. I’d definitely recommend purchasing your Legos motors from Helcdrx as you get can definitely get assistance if you need and they are aware that you do.

Worth the money spent. My kid loves making stuff with motor set. Remote control could be improved more but still nice overall set
