it's an amazing and detailed book whit 2 pages per illustrator showing some of the very best, the printing quality adds to the beauty of this book, it's sharp and shows really good detail in each work here, the Illustrators are from around the world and that adds a lot of appeal to the book.Over all is a great tool for searching illustration styles but also a great inspiring book.it's quite heavy which is also a good point the thickness of the paper ads to it's beauty since it doesn't show the previous illustration at all.If you love illustration you are going to love this book.

An array of artists and designs from around the world, to inspire and get your creative juices going!As well as digitally enhanced illustrations, a chunk of the book features some very pretty watercolour/ hand drawn pieces. The quality of the book is also great with nice thick paper. Overall very pleased with my purchase, and definitely would recommend to established artists looking for inspiration or anyone just interested in illustration and contemporary design.

A hard-back book, every page illustrated with examples of the work of a selection of illustrator's work.Not disappointing, just a little lop-sided in the choice of 'contemporary' illustrators exampled.A European-slant, retro, a touch repetitive in choice.If you are looking for an objective, oversee of all types of contemporary illustrator, look elsewhere.However, this is a lovely book to dip in and out of; enjoyable.

Amazing illustrations

This book did not disappoint.Full of great illustrations as expected.Up to the usual standard of Gestalten.Varied and interesting.

Das Buch mit angeblich akutellen Superillustratoren hat mir gar nicht gefallen. Es scheint mir veraltet zu sein. In diesem Buch sind Illustration, bei denen es darauf ankommt, daß die Illustratoren möglichst viele Bildelemente ins Format bringen, was ihren Fleiß ausdrückt. Wer der Fleißigste ist, ist der Beste. Aber man wird als Betrachter mit Sinnesreizen vollkommen überfrachtet. Durch die vielen Bildelemente ist man beim Betrachten verwirrt. Was ist jetzt wichtig? Worauf kommt es an? Es fehlen Illustrationen im wahren Sinn des Wortes: Illustrare (lat.): erhellen, erleuchten, aber auch verdeutlichen. Es müßten Illustrationen sein, die ein Thema auf den Punkt bringen, keine Fleißarbeiten. Unwichtige Bildelemente müßten reduziert sein, wichtige dagegen hervorgehoben. Das Buch müßten heißen: Die fleißigsten Illustratoren der USA. Aus deutschen Landen habe ich schon wesentlich bessere IIllustrationen gesehen.

Illustrators Unlimited ist eine Sammlung von Illustratoren, deren Werke darin präsentiert werden. Es wird also ein kleiner Einblick gewährt, der meines Erachtens sehr inspirierend und auch motivierend ist. Vor allem für Designer und Illustratoren, aber auch für Leute, die sich einfach nur gerne hobbymäßig mit Illustration jeglicher Art auseinandersetzen und/oder selbst etwas kreieren und nach Input suchen. Der ist hiermit definitiv gesichert. Auch ein sehr hochwertiger Druck...

Si te gusta el mundo de la ilustración contemporánea, éste libro es casi una pieza obligatoria en tu biblioteca. La selección de autores es amplia y de calidad. La impresión y edición en general es muy buena.

Das ist ein großartiges Buch. Die Illustrationen sehen super aus. Auch wegen der absolut überzeugenden Druckqualität. Die verschiedenen Illustrationsstile sind eine gute Inspirationsquelle. Ich würde sagen, ein Muss für Illustrationsliebhaber!!!!! Ist seinen Preis auf alle Fälle Wert!

Le livre était décrit comme d'occasion et en "excellent état" or j'ai été surprise de découvrir la couverture bien usée sur tous les angles et couleur partie. Il aurait fallu le signaler dans le descriptif. Autrement l'envoi a été fait très rapidement.
