Good if you need 6 speeds
This is a very nice nail grinder if you need the 6 speeds. It doesn't make that much noise and it has two LED lights that are very helpful. And it's a great price. But if you don't need the 6 speeds I'd get the N30 model. It's 2 speeds, has the LED lights and is a little smaller and easier to hold.

FRIGGING AWESOME GRINDER!!!
I have great Dane & a Rottie. Both absolutely hate it when it's time to do their nails. It would take 3 people to get it done. Wife scratching their butts, Daughter giving peanut butter & me on the stairs ( going down, providing open access to the dogs paws through rails) as I tried to trim their nails (clipper & grinder). It was stressful for the dogs & the entire family. We all dreaded it.Then my wife sent me a DUH video.. of how traumatic it is to clip their toenails & the advantages of a QUIET with NO VIBRATION grinder. My original grinder was terrible. I order 3 different grinders. Compared the speed, the method for controlling the speed, the sound & how easy it the cover would fall off. Of the 3 the Casfuy Dog Nail Grinder had the highest amount of power (audible) available with the highest number of settings, 6 (a mechanical rotary positive position switch). The On/Off Switch is mechanical (Up/Down, not a button push that can be accidentally hit while using the tool). The others I compared required a cumbersome button push sequence which I felt was going to be a constant battle. I used this on both dogs to night. My Rottie rolled over on her back while I was doing her nails "WHAT!!" she still tugged a little with her legs but nothing like before. Our Great Dane, huge baby (afraid of everything) I was able to do all his nails while he somewhat calmly, laid under our our living room table. Yea, tight fit but it's his safe place (I know, don't violate his safe place). he did amazingly well. Slight leg pulls, more then the Rottie but OMG!!!! This thing was amazing. The light was very useful throughout both dogs & the power of the grinder.. it never bogged down...It was perfect!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Oh, regarding the cover... I had mine removed for both dogs. The cover is good for small pups. It locks in place with a twist lock setting. It can be positions in 2 positions 180 degrees from each other. the opening is a little larger then 3/16" (0.196). The light was very helpful. while you can't necessarily see while grinding it is very bright & was extremely useful to me, especially under the table. My only wish is that this grinder offered a reverse on the rotation. that way, you can be any position without going against the tip of the nail (patent time)

Hush
I don’t give 5 start reviews on any product or service. That said, I am very impressed with the quiet operation of this nail grinder as well as its ease of use and low vibration. My GSD hates getting her nails trimmed and always has. She has never had a quick cutting incident nor has she been forced or held down for a trimming! This tool has made a huge difference in her behavior during nail trimming sessions! After introducing her to the trimmer in the off position and then touching the trimmer while it’s running several times, I made my move.I played with her for an hour and then gently touched the grinder wheel to her nails. Three days later and we have a non eventful nail trimming/training session 2 times a day with lots of treats and praise. Here is a couple of things that I would like to change. I wish the grinding wheel rotated parallel the the length of the nail instead of across it. It would make grinding smoother and the wheel less jumpy if your angle is off.I don’t know how durable and resistant to dropping accidents the housing is but, if a rubber armored housing or bumper could be added and not cause an overheating issue it might be worth it. A little more powerful motor would be nice!It appears to be well constructed and made with quality components and with use and time will I be able to determine the verdict!Update 10/16/23I’ve used this grinder for just over two months now, and have a pretty good overall experience with this grinder. As I mentioned before, I would like a little more power. I would prefer to have the grinding wheel rotate parallel to the nail instead of perpendicular to the nail and would feel better if they included a rubber armor skin to protect against accidental drop damage!Lastly the grinding wheel lasted less than 2 months ( I put about 31/2 to 4 months use on the wheel in 2 months. If you used the grinder 2 times a week.)This is my first time using a grinder for nail care, So I don’t know if the grinding wheel lasted a long time or if it was below or above average? It seems a bit short considering it’s diamond impregnated!Anyway, a very good and quiet product that has help make nail care stress free for my dog and I!
