This product is great, only a single connecting port so can only charge your device, so data transfer is possible. You buy a cable with multiple contacts for data transfer plus charging. But this item is great just for charging, no more wear on your charging port on you device, or damage that can occur when knocking the charging cable when it's in place. The magnetic connection just knocks off. Great for the kids tablet etc.

All the tips work great with many brands of single pin magnetic connection cables being sold on amazon. Bonus... the removal clip you get with the tips is made of metal instead of plastic (other sellers give you a cheap plastic one). For the price I paid for 10 pcs, it was cheaper than buying it from that other well known selling website (A l i)... and, I only had to wait a couple of days for it to arrive (instead of 2-3 weeks). Anyway, the main reasons you should use these, is if you need a very fast and easy way to connect to power to charge something... and if you’re scared about a cable being pulled accidentally and your expensive device goes crashing to the ground. That has yet to happen to me since switching over to magnetic connection cables and matching mag tips (knock on wood). You can easily find micro, mini, iOS and USB C tips on Amazon, so you can turn almost any portable device into a mag charging one (if it has one of those connections). I have personally used these types of mag tips for the last 3-4 years, and I have only come across 2 or 3 tips that were faulty and fell apart during use.... but considering how affordable theses tips are, I don’t have an issue if they only last a year or so. 5*

These are cheap and you get lots in a pack. My old connector fell in half so had no choice to buy more. These were a good fit the magnet was good. Charging is fine. So far we’ll pleased.
