Q: It came very sqeezed into vaccum seal... How do you getbit to spring to full size?

When you take it out of the bag, it expands to full size. I love mine.

Q: Did anybody figure out how to get the bad odar out of it?

If it has an odor, it can be washed.

Q: Is this an "issued" sized patch?

No it's not, I think the issue was 4 1/2" tall. We are working to get to get the issue ones.
