Lypsyl Intense Protection Original Mint, Lip Balm 0.10 oz (Pack of 6)

I will go out of my way to find this lip balm and will pay whatever the cost for it because it is by far the best you can buy. I have tried every brand of lip balm known to man and even non branded, handmade but none of them are as good as LYPSYL. My lips get VERY chapped and dry in the MN winters, but I put this lip balm on at night before I go to sleep and by morning, they are silky smooth and hydrated. This brand doesn't leave that gross film on your lips that gets on your teeth while you sleep either. It's a pleasant smell of minty-ness but not overwhelming.

Above all other beauty products I have (and I have A LOT) this lip balm is the MOST essential and the one thing I can never go without. I buy in bulk because I have this stuff stashed everywhere - my purse, my vanity, my nightstand, the pouch on my favorite armchair, I even keep a tube in my pocket at all times. I will double check before I leave the house to make sure I have a tube with me because I will regret it if I forget it. This probably sounds excessive, but this lip balm is indispensable in my daily life. It's silky and light on the lips, not gritty, waxy, or sticky like other brands I've tried. There is no chemically aftertaste and the scent is a strong, fresh peppermint. It has a slight cooling effect on the lips that is soothing if your lips are dry or irritated, or if you (like me) have an oral fixation and struggle with lip licking and chewing. It makes your lips looks glossy and healthy. I've been using it for close to 7 years now and I dread the day they discontinue it.

I have suffered from extreme chapped lips all my life and I'm not sure why. It has even been so bad several times a year that flakes of dry skin would be on my lips and my lips had cracks that literally bled. I have tried practically every kind of lip balm product on the market to no avail. They helped temporarily, but if I forgot to keep applying it, my lips would return to their natural bad state. Some of them even seemed to make my lips worse, for example Blistex, which had high menthol, seemed to make my lips even more irritated over time. ChapStick was actually pretty good for me, but it only protects and lubricates the lips and doesn't really help improve them with any vitamins or anything, almost like it was just covering over the problem without helping to improve it. I cannot believe it took me this long to find Lypsil! It just works! Even if I forget to use it for a day, my lips still are in better shape than they ever were since I can remember. This is probably because it has vitamin A which is like a light retinol and also vitamin E. So, even when not using this, your lips are in better shape. It also protects the lips from getting chapped in the first place when using it. Yet, it is not at all irritating, smells great, has no taste, no high shine (I'm a guy and would not want that) and the design of the tube is really cool with a little bee push up thingy. My ex-girlfriend used to complain when I kissed her that my lips felt as dry as the Sahara desert. If only we were still together because my lips are now really quite kissable. I'm a total Lypsl convert, it's the only lip balm product that has helped improve my lips and seems healthy for them. I just wish they made a version with sunscreen for when I'm out in the sun.

This is lip balm is awesome! Nice and smooth feeling on the lips. Has a nice faint mint taste! Highly recommend these!!
