this is cool. soft, heats really warm. it would be perfect for us, since my husband is in a wheelchair, if we could have a smaller size, since we now have to make it somehow smaller, because he sits, and i try not to kink the electric wires inside this. having said that, a battery would be cool. but those are things somewhat specific to us. this product is worth the money, so i bought a second one. for me. thank you

I habitually purchase many types of heated blankets for myself and friends and family.I love my most recent purchase the remote is easy to use and warms very quickly. I cannot rate on the longevity of this blanket because I've only had it a few months. My hope is that it will last till the next cold season. Overall, it's soft, pretty to look at and is true to the color as listed . The baby blue blended exceptionally well with my other bedding. This blanket warms so quickly and has automatic turn off which I find very good for safety.

This blanket takes a little while to heat up, but stays toasty at a safe temperature and shuts off automatically. I cannot believe how fantastic the quality is for the price. If you throw a blanky over the top to trap the warmth you will be asleep and dreaming in no time. *WARNING* if you have cats it will attract them like a magnet, my kitties will not stay off of my lap once I turn this bad boy on

The throw does not heat in some areas even though the wires r obviously there . Bought two and both were the same way.

Bought this as a Christmas present for a daughter in student digs with dodgy heating. It arrived with an American plug (ordered from the UK Amazon site), so I had to buy an adaptor for it, and just three weeks later, in the middle of freezing January, it has already stopped working. Very disappointing.
