Not much to review here. Looks well built and does what it's supposed to.

Limited Success with Some Unexpected
Update 03/25/2025:I have had some more extensive testing with this adapter and had several failures. This is mostly dependent on the motherboard. From a supermicro motherboard through a bifurcation card it would work with a gpu at 4.0 speed. This contributed to my original review. From the same motherboard via the m.2 port it would not work reliably with the same gpu.It won't work at 4.0 speed (actual speed 1.1) on an Asus motherboard through m.2 port.It would work at (seemingly 4.0) speed on an asrock motherboard m.2 port with a gpu but not a nic. The NIC would not be recognized at all, probably because of insufficient power or missing voltage, likely the latter. The NIC situation is unexpected which contributed to the 2 star. For the other hit or miss scenarios it would have been a 3 star.By "working reliably" I mean some GPU stress testing with nvidia-smi for pcie tx/rx errors. What I observed was that if it works fine then no errors can be detected at all. If not then it basically just disconnects and crashes the application, except for the NIC not being detected at all.My previous review:This adapter is rather cheaply made but works nevertheless. With reasonably quality cable this can work with pcie gen4.
