When we rescued our 130 pound mastiff from a shelter at one year old he had some really bad stomach issues (constant diarrhea). We tried so many different top quality popular dog foods and the issue still didn’t resolve. Someone recommended this food and omg it worked like magic. The dog loves it and it has been 8 years now with no tummy issues. We just took him for his vet checkup and all his blood work and urinalysis show he is a completely healthy guy.

Great, healthy dry dog food with a variety of protein and super foods. Also like that it contains glucosamine for our German Shepherd and her joints. We have used this since our dog was a puppy and transitioned our older dog to their senior version and he loved it! Their recommended servings and formula for large breed works well to keep our dog's weight stable. Nutro has become our favorite dog food option.

We rescued two Great Danes and they were constantly having loose stools. Every time. Like soft serve. We researched brands and tried this. Within 24 hours we had solid 💩! Happy parents and happy Danes 😁. They both ate it happily and we are now on bag 4. Happy with the results and the ingredients.

Ok, my dog loves anything edible, but he has thrived on this kibble. His weight has remained between 43 and 46 pounds since he started eating Nutro 9 years ago or so. I did try a less expensive but still high quality food a year or two ago but his GI tract was not happy with the change, so back to the Nutro. I just wish it was a bit less expensive.

Since all of this scare with dog food seriously making dogs ill and even causing their death. Last year we adopted a 3 year old American/English bulldog. He is more American. I wanted to make sure that our dog was safe at least regarding his food especially when I learned that our friends dog passed before his time from food. I did my research for what brands were best for American Bulldogs. I found out that some of the best dog foods, changed their formula and were making dogs sick. Nutro Ultra was on the list for best dog foods for a bulldog, and did not show reviews of making dogs sick, so I switched him to it. He has been on it for over a year and I even had Nutro Ultra sent monthly through the subscribe and save programs. Yes, you can find cheaper dog food, bit at what cost? Well, my husband didn't feel that we should be spending this much on dog food, so he bought cheap grocery store dog food. Within 2 weeks of that cheap dog food, our fur baby was peeing blood. After a nice size vet bill yesterday, and our fur baby put on medication, we were told to toss that cheap stuff and put him back on Nutro Ultra. To be continued....

I have a golden retriever puppy with an extremely sensitive stomach and sensitive dry skin. We did everything the vet said and tried Eukanuba, Hills Science Diet, Purina sensitive formula, and Rachel Ray and could not get our puppy’s stomach settled and just ended up feeding him chicken and rice most weeks. We tried this food and have not had any stomach issues since we started and his skin isn’t flaky anymore and we can’t believe it! We would have settled for anything that didn’t cause severe diarrhea by the time we tried this food. And our dog really likes this food. He didn’t love a few of the ones we tried. We will probably be buying this dog food for the rest of his life!

I’ve never tasted it but my dog seems to love it!
