The easy way to stop dryer lint from escaping.
This dryer vent is working exactly as advertised. It has a double filter system, one built-in filter and a replacement filter, to catch any lint that escapes the filter in your dryer. Easy to install and simple to keep clean. No dirty water to dispose of like my unsatisfactory previous filter unit.

No more flying lint!
After years of not having any way in our garage to vent lint from the dryer this has been a game changer. We mounted it on the wall above the dryer and used the ducting to connect to it. It is a very simple installation. It works so well at catching flying lint. We used to have fuzz everywhere.

Works great to recover the dryer heat & humidity into the home
Going on my 2nd season of use, this filter works great at it's intended function! It recovers the heat and humidity for indoor use. If indoor humidity is low AND you need a source of heat anyway (winter), this is a wonderful solution. I connected it so that I can select to either pump clothes dryer airflow into the house, or select to pump the dryer airflow out through the dryer vent (summer). When I pump the airflow into the house, I first turn on the houses central heating/air fan so the humidity & heat can be dispersed throughout the house, and turn the house fan back to auto when my laundry is completed.

Exactly what I needed
This def works as it should. It’s been quite a few months and I haven’t had to empty the lint track for a while. My dryer dries quickly and I see no problems with it. Setting up was a bit confusing but I eventually got it. Installing was a breeze only took me 5 min to screw it in!

Excellent product
I LOVE this vent. It is so easy to install (we just used double sided tape) and makes a big difference for indoor venting. Easy to clean. Definitely worth it. Doesn't require water like other models and can fit easily above the dryer.

Easy to install
This is exactly what we needed for our Electric Dryer as it would have been a hassle to run an outside vent. Plus I wanted the dryer to be easily movable so I rigged this to attach to the dryer instead of the wall. INSTALL NOTE: The little square metal, which let you know when it's time to clean your filter, is a smart addition... but you know how instructions can be... How it works: Your dryer vents with strong airflow and all of that air passes through your new (and clean) filter. As your filter collects lint, pressure builds up in the filter. The filter contains a little door flap that is designed to pop open as that pressure builds, signaling its time to clean your filter (remove the lint). They give you 3 pieces of metal that match the square shape of the door flap (with an adhesive). Your job is to determine how many to install according to your dryer which is very easy to do. Start with affixing 1 metal square to the flap door. Turn on your dryer and assimilate lint blockage by simply covering the outside of your vent (about 50%) with anything to build pressure. I used a book. If it pops open, add a 2nd metal plate on top of the first. If it does not open, then use your book to cover more of the vent. You are looking for the door to pop open when the blockage is about 75%. My dryer is small and it used 2 metal plates, i suspect bigger dryers will use all 3. Hope this explanation AND the instructions with diagrams helps you.
