We have a very firm mattress and my sleep for months has suffered because I have a Rotator Arm Disorder. It is not the fault of the firm mattress - just me! My husband prefers a firm bed because he finds it difficult to move in bed due to suffering from Parkinsons. We thought about buying a new mattress one divided into two sections one firm and one softer but as our mattress is only 7 years old the cost of this new one seemed a bit extreme. It was suggested why don't we try a Topper. Well, after trawling through all the different ones on the market, the Panda one seemed to be the best. The reviews appeared to be complimentary, so we bit the bullet and ordered one for our King size bed even though it was quite expensive compared to others. It is now two weeks since we have experienced our purchase and at first it did seem a little strange but as you get used to it it's like laying on a feather bed but supportive at the same time. My husband does not find it too difficult and copes with it well. We both are sleeping better and it is so much more comfortable for my shoulder. Some reviews said they did not like the smell but I must say that we gave it over 24 hours to recover from it's packing before we put it on the bed and there was no odd smell at all. It does get quite warm but do not find we are overheating, in fact, now that winter is approaching I think it is going to be very cosy. It certainly is well worth the money and much cheaper than a new mattress. We are both retired so do not have to get up too early but now my husband has to push me out of bed! The Panda Topper is an excellent product but you do have to give it a chance for your body to adapt. I have also bought a Panda Pillow. Now that does take much longer to get used to and there is a strange smell which after a couple of weeks is only just leaving the pillow. It is very good if you do not mind putting your head on a pillow that is nothing like an ordinary pillow, it is very firm. But as I have said about the Topper your body needs time to adapt and now my neck is feeling much, much better. Thank you Panda.

I ordered this months ago and had it shipped to London in order for it to come air freight to Uganda. Unfortunately when it got here they had sent two Double size Mattresses. I had placed an order for a King sized one. I was pretty horrified since this came via International freight. I contacted support and they were absolutely amazing and helpful. They corrected the order, sent the proper sized one to my shipping company and refunded me the amount for the first shipment (my freight charges).After a few weeks, I got the right order and have tested it out for the last several months. Here are my findings:LOVES: very comfortable, it is soft not medium firm. The temperature regulates very well and it's helped my back and sleep quality tremendously.OBSERVATIONS: The topper should be used on a firm mattress. The topper is definitely soft and not medium as described. But this is all solved if you put it on the right base. If your mattress has dents or divots then this will not help it to even out or be more firm as it conforms to the shape of your existing mattress. There is a slight odor when you unpackage the topper, but if you follow instructions and let it air out for 48 hours after unrolling it, the smell goes. I think it took about 4 days for the smell to go completely. The mattress topper secures very nicely to your existing mattress with no slippage.I think it's most definitely worth the price and a great topper if you have a medium to firm mattress with no dips or dents already.I have to say the Customer service was exemplary. I could have CRIED when we received the wrong order but they understood the situation completely and were so helpful. Major Kudos to the customer service team at Panda.

Little package that keeps expanding. Had this over a year now. Very comfortable and better sleep. Still like new. Skeptical at first.Let you into a secret. My wife had a troubeled foot problem, not a bunion, but swell that mimicked a bunion. We found it was the direct mattress spring button rubbing the big toe joint, honest. Its now gone. This type of mattress is firm but has no buttons to iritate your foot joints.

The topper comes vacuum packed & it needs about 12 hours to expand before putting onto your bed or mattress.It's very comfortable and supportive either on your side or your back. I was worried that it would pit in the middle but that's not the case, it re expands as you move around. Good if you suffer with back/hip problems. No aching on getting up in the morning. My existing mattress is quite old, so this was the perfect solution & it works really well. The downside is that it's supposedly has cooling technology which I am waiting to see if that's apparent after the heatwave is over. There are cheaper versions out there, but I did some research before buying & this came out as one of the most recommended on the market.
