Since getting an electric wheelchair I am hitting door edges and wall corners all the time. These things work great. But, BEWARE!: The edges are VERY sharp! Be sure they are installed TIGHT to the door or wall! And warn anyone who cleans them or may come in direct contact with the edges.

Cut the piece only to discover grimey corrosion underneath when I removed the protective cover. It won't come off. Can't return now since I procrastinated on the project. Oh well, another trip to hardware store.

Be careful the edges are very sharp. My wife cut her self cleaning them.

So they are sturdy and look good. I want you to know that the edges are not rolled so wear gloves when installing them. Also do not scrape against them you will lose skin. My wife was vacuuming the day we installed them and when she pulled the cord around the corner it shaved off the insulation to expose the inside wires. Some electrical tape and it was fine but still. I would say they are so industrial I feel like I need a hard hat and gloves around them with long sleeves and pants. How and they where two days late being delivered.
