Easy to install, required a bit of digging out of the drive but it was not a problem. You don't need a great deep hole. Once in place got some quick drying concrete. Despite not being very deep in the ground its very sturdy. Even the provided padlock is good. I have it at the rear of our camper van to deter thieves. It even prevents the rear doors being opened as its quite tall. Overall very pleased and looks the part!

Seems ok but I am not sure how string it would be if towed out the ground by a car as it isn’t deep into the ground but it’s cheap

The post itself is very sturdy and will no doubt add to the security of my caravan. BUT - AND A VERY BIG BUT. DO NOT BUY IT TOGETHER WITH THE 10 KEY PADLOCK WHICH AMAZON UNFORTUNATELY PLACES TOGETHER UNDER THE TITLE FREQUENTLY PURCHASED TOGETHER. THE LOCK IS VERY STURDY BUT IS TOO BIG FOR THE SECURITY POST - BUY A SEPARATE LOCK.

The post it's self is pretty good. Unlike some other post that just bolt to the floor it is a stronger design with it being semi sunk into the ground. However unlike some others the post has to be taken out and left to the side, where as some other designs the post can retract into the ground making it much easier to live with on a daily basis. The post is good, the lock is questionable and looks a little weak, but it's an extra security feature that's either going to make the robbers move on to the easier vehicle down the road, or slow them down in the process giving you more chance to stop them. And if 35 pounds saves your expensive pride and joy it's worth it to me. Installing the post was fairly easy, I'm not a ground worker and watched YouTube videos to learn how to install posts. With a lump hammer, chisel and spade I dug the hole deep enough in no more than 15 minutes. Some premixed concrete and a spirt level to keep it straight and done. 4 out of 5 stars for me and the lock could do with upgrading.

Very good heavier than I thought it would be . which is a plus . fitting instructions Comprehensive fitted and left for a day for concrete to harden barrier fitted padlock fitted . Next day I hope it’s never tested. A good functional product by maypole recommended by me

Given one star because the flap which lifts up, has broken, and this is vital because it connects the part which is sunk into the ground and the post itself. This means I cannot lock the post which renders it absolutely useless.

Great but must be well concreted in I added some bolts through the corners of the plate to add more grip to the concrete.... Easy to remove and replace to move vehicles good quality
