Review: Doubles up as a back massager because there’s so much bass 😎 - Bought this as a cheap and (relatively) easy way to get significantly better sound quality on my mx5. Shoved it behind the driver seat, spent 6 hours wiring it into the car’s amplifier and battery, and I now have a built-in back massager if I ever need it. Absolutely amazing sound quality and is loud enough the shake other cars at a traffic light if desired. All jokes aside I’d highly recommend it as it’s transformed my mx5s sound setup and makes driving way more enjoyable.

In other words if you are looking for something that will create a mobile earthquake this isn't for you. However as something that will give your system a very pleasant upgrade it is perfect. It will help if you have already upgraded your existing speakers from the original ones to something a little better. Also having a decent head unit with a separate sub-woofer output and the ability to adjust the sub-woofer independently will make a big difference. The bass can be turned up quite loud but that is not the point of this. Where it sounds best is at medium level volume where the bass does not overpower your existing speakers. I listen to a variety of music from Soul, funk, jazz and reggae through to dance. All of these will be very pleasantly transformed to a much rounder and fuller sound where the bass is presented in a noticeable but not overwhelming way. Unless you are very confident I would go for professional installation where the fitter will be able to correctly set the gain level for you.

**Q: Does this unit come with the a remote control?**
A: Nope. Adjustable gain on the bottom of the unit, but nothing you can adjust on the fly.

**Q: hi... can this be powered via the cigarette lighter? thanks**
A: No it will blow a fuse. Power direct from car battery via a fuse for the main red power cable. The remote switch on cable can connect t to the remote out of the radio or a feed that only comes on when ignition is switched on.

**Q: Does this unit come with all wiring needed?**
A: Yes but you will need to purchase audio/Phono wire separately

**Q: If I get two of them can they be linked together under either seat and will these fit a Ford Fiesta eco boost 2016 ?**
A: You don't need two, trust me. Just installed mine in a defender 110 and it sounds amazing. You certainly don't need two for a tiny little fiesta

This is really good. Sound is good and it was easy to install. Would prefer if there were 4 mounting points, as there are only 2 diagonal mounts which isn’t ideal. Small criticism though.
