For drills up to 3/4 inch
As purchased, Drill Doctor sharpeners come with a 1/2 inch chuck. If you want to sharpen a larger diameter drill you need this 3/4 inch chuck. It works, and works well. The one I bought from this seller was the lowest price I could find! Next day delivery. Can't be faulted. However, ask yourself why this accessory, a fairly straightforward piece of plastic, costs one third the price of a complete XP sharpener. It's not the vendor's fault. The price is set by Drill Doctor themselves. Remember, it works well, but nonetheless it is a manufacturer's rip-off!

I have cut up to 1” bits with this adapter. Works great. I have the 750. So I can change heal and cut angle. Really like this adapter.
