Excellent solution for 16X cards when you only have an 8X slot available. It makes the card sit a bit higher of course, so you have to come up with a way of bracing it to the case. I used a longer screw and a wire nut (cut off at the top), and it works pretty well. See pictures for inspiration.

I'm using this with a Quadro P400 to stream with Sunshine. NVENC works perfectly fine even with just 1x bandwidth. Works as advertised. Just be warned you might have trouble screwing down the GPU to the case, I used a long AIO screw and was able to install it.

Perfect fit for my 1u server to throw in a low profile p620 gpu. Quick and easy install, open case, push into pci slot, install card. Fast, simple, well built adapter. Functioned perfectly first try.

i was hoping this riser would be tall enough to make it so half height cards would be able to fit in a full height slot and the bracket able to be screwed down, but thats not the case. the lift of the riser is kind of half way between both standards so a custom bracket is required if you want to screw the card down. not entirely sure why they didnt just make it a little bit taller and undercut the incredibly overpriced near $25 startech riser that is supposed to actually do this.

I have a Lenovo P520, running unraid NAS. Ran out of all PCIE x8 and x16 slots for 10G Network Card and 2x NVME bifurcation cards. There is no built-in graphics card on the motherboard, but 2x pcie3 x4 slots were still left. A GPU is not really needed once the device is up and running, but is helpful for setting up the box and make bios changes if needed. Looking at graphics card that can run on the PCIE x4 slots, all of them were $50+. This card saved time and money, I was able to use a x16 graphics card on the x4 slot. Worked like a charm.

Bought these to slightly extend the PCIe slot in a 1U server to fit the chassis PCIe slot from the motherboard. This one was perfect when another brand I tried was slightly too long. Will buy more!

It works. If you do not have a case designed for this thing, you need to fashion some way to support the card plugged into this.

Ich nutze den Adapter, um eine Quadro P600 im x1 Slot meines Mainboards zu verwenden. Bandbreite reicht für NVENC völlig aus. Mit dem etwas verbogenen half height bracket und einem Kabelbinder sieht die Montage nicht schön aus, funktioniert im Homelab aber zuverlässig.

PCI-E1.0のソケットに3.0を使えるので便利です。
