This thing is awesome! Just be careful, because it is real wax. I put batteries in right away and tested it. Works perfectly. You won't regret.

Flashback to the Adam's Family (if I'm not showing my age), this very detailed, good-sized candle resting in a separate hand is ideal for any eerie décor. I mean the candle with dripping blood is cool (would have liked a little indentation on the top to look like it had been burning for a while to account for all the oozing blood), but the fact that you can separate the two, have the candle in one place and use the hand on the buffet table or elsewhere is excellent. I almost went into shock when there was no remote required. Thank the Spirits! I have enough dang remotes scattered about with all my various candle sets; it was refreshing to just simply switch it on & enjoy! 5 snaps for this Thing!

Spooky Halloween flickering flameless wax candle. It takes 2 AA batteries and has a 6 hour timer. I’m very happy about the candle having a timer. I don’t like wasting batteries if I forget to turn off the candle. This way it shuts off itself. Normally I’m not a fan of skulls, but I like that the hand is coming out of the bones and holding the candle. Not to mention the blood dripping down from the candle itself. This will be a nice scary decoration this fall. I’m looking forward to sitting it out with my other decorations.

Why oh why can't they do either both or just USB powered? I really, REALLY hate changing out batteries when I leave this light on too long! I love my Halloween stuff but I sure would appreciate it if the people who make this stuff would stop with the battery power and switch to USB or have it be both - the USB keeps the batteries charged and that way I'm not getting annoyed by changing out batteries all the time! As far as how it looks, I love it...just do NOT love the battery changing...
