I only read negative reviews to gather my opinions on a product. If you're serious about buying a product like this, consider that pH probes are not a lifetime investment due to their nature, and move on with life. This unit has a permanently fixed EC sensor, and a replaceable pH sensor. I've purchased two of these units. The first came out of the box and required no calibration as far as I could tell. The second unit came with a defective pH probe (again reference why these probes are problematic in general regardless of manufacturer)... Immediate and awesome response from Bluelab support and they are sending me a replacement probe with no issues. The reviews I've read about this company are consistent with my experience, and I cannot recommend them more. If you want to integrate your own app with their API, it's braindead simple. I cannot recommend this product more.

This makes monitoring my PH , temp, and TDS levels easy. No more having to take samples of the water to check my PH levels, or wondering about the temperature of the water feeding my plants. I'm currently using the TDS meter as an indicator of my water level. As the water level goes down, the concentration of nutrients in the water goes up... I think. So as the TDS level goes up, I know that the ratio of water to nutrients is going down (since I know I did not add any nutrients during that time). Don't quote me on this. I was never any good at science or math. Anyway, I don't think I'm using the TDS meter properly, but what the heck. It works for me. I love the product. I just wish the cord for the PH measuring thingy and the temperature measuring thingy were longer, but now I'm just nitpicking.

I was beginning to think a continuous PH/PPM meter that actually works even existed. Ive tried so many and the all were garbage!! Finally Bluelab actually has one that works! And this this works perfect. No more jumping PH values and wondering which value to go by on when every second you look at it sways all over the place. This one is precise and shows a perfectly steady number at all times! Now I feel more comfortable knowing I have a meter that is dependable. Yes, it costs way more than these other brands, but at least this one works. Easy calibration and popped it right in my resovoir bucket hydro system and working like a champ. Thank-you!!!

I can’t even get the app to load on my phone. It just cycles continuously until I close it. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it multiple times but it’s not working. I’d like to give the monitor a good review but it doesn’t work as advertised. I bought it for the remote capabilities specifically. I already have good monitors for ph, tds, ec and temp. The app was the selling point for the Bluelab Guardian. I’m returning it and buying a Growee system. It’s a little more expensive but the app works.

The first one arrived with a problem so they sent me a new one that I have owned for over 3 years and only used it once for 4 months and the rest of the time it was in storage in their companies storage solution for the whole time. I needed to use it again and It would not CAL, it just did a zero count down and I contacted Bluelab to see if I was doing something wrong and they said the probe is too old. So I purchased this new in 2019 and the SN says 2009 on it and they told me it was made in 2020. Ok so they bent the truth a little LOL. Bottom line they said the probes are only warrantied for 6 months and in their words they get to old. But have no expiration. So I ask how can I get a fresh probe and they said buy direct on their website and not on Amazon as I reported I purchased from. It turns out they sell to Amazon there older stock apparently

Overall I am very happy with this product. The PH probe died on me only 5 weeks after receiving the unit, which was dismaying, and customer support replaced it, but not without significant inconvenience on my part. For that, I can't give it 5 stars. However it is a great product and I consider it a must-have for any hydroponic system.

I used this to track my hydroponics system. I have had no connection issues. It has worked as expected, sending alarms when values stray beyond specs. My system is outdoors with a mesh network hub within 20 feet. I love that I can just check my phone to ensure everything is working okay.
