I have this hooked to the armrest of a mission style recliner which serves as my office chair, and it works great.Had a different brand (single arm) I bought in 2020 which broke after 5 years. While I was happy with the old one, the NB North Bayou Dual Arm 2 in 1 is better in every way, from build quality, clamp quality and much better positioning of my laptop while I work.PRO - Heavy duty, the box was so heavy I was concerned it was too much, but it wasn'tPRO - Simple, effective design, it just worksPRO - Includes all the hardware, screws and tools required to assemblePRO - Cord management, cords are secure and out of the way but with the play needed when moving the laptop or monitorPRO - Assembly is intuitive and easy, though when you open the box and see all the parts you may initially feel otherwisePRO - The NB North Bayou Dual Arm 2 in 1 mount is extremely well packaged, open the box, everything is wrapped in plastic and has its own space in the protective packaging. Smaller or more fragile items (the plastic slider brackets which hold the sides of the laptop to keep it from moving are the only potentially fragile parts, but they are tucked out of harms way)CON - The assembly manual is very basic and poorly written but has good illustrations for both the parts list and assembly, it's all you need because it's a simple process which took me about 30 minutes, even with limited written instructions.CON - The threaded holes to mount the laptop stand to the swing arm are initially hard to get the mounting screws through. I was able to use the included screws and a mini ratchet wrench I have to get the screws started and then tightened and loosened the screws which made it easier to get them started when mounting the laptop stand.I'm very happy with this, it's very solidly built and provides a stable base for my laptop and the 27" monitor I added to my system as I track and research investments.

Very easy setup, really sturdy. It's holding a monitor and my laptop perfectly. Takes a bit to get it where you are comfortable with it, but definitely glad I purchased it. Works very well for my setup.

Desk space in a college dorm can be extremely limited.This looked to be a good solution, and it worked out great.Laptop and large monitor both raised off of the desk's surface.Well packaged, and all tools needed are included.Add some velcro cable ties, and you are set!Everyone that has seen it, wants the same set up.Very stable with minimal bounce.

Exceptional unit that feels extremely sturdy not just for the price but at any price. I have bought a few products from this company over the years and they seem to be every bit as good as the name brands. If your concerned about the price point and this not being strong enough to hold your monitor, don't be. It will do the job.

Great item. I’ve been using it for almost a year now and still love it. The only downside is that over time, the back support bar has started to lean slightly toward the screen side.

Great monitor arms and very easy to setup/move to new desk. Holds my laptop and 27" monitor with ease. The cable management it comes with is ok and does the job.
