I was so scared of getting this oil, because of the negative reviews. I'm used to castor oil, I'm from the Caribbean and my mom would get it from a local aunty ! 😁Now, when I opened the bottle the seal was intact, I took a whiff of it but couldn't really smell anything, however when I applied some on my hands I could smell that nutty scent castor oil has, but not as strong as the black one.The oil feels thick, and it's normal because castor oil IS thick, so what I do is I rub my hands together for a few seconds so that the oil warms up a bit. It's been on my hands for 15 minutes and so far no issue in fact my hands don't feel dry anymore. I will use it with shea butter for my skin (it's best to apply a moisturizer first and then the oil) and as usual I will also use it on my hair. I will keep updated tho !

I remember this from a child 70 years back. As a child my brothers and I had to line uo, with a half of sliced lemon and a tablespoon of castor oil. It cleaned you out, but nothing could get rid of the taste. Want to see what it does for the hair and scalp.
