I got these to use as chopsticks and, for me, they work very, VERY well as chopsticks. These wooden tongs are much easier to use than traditional chopsticks because they're flat, they have a wider tip with ridges that help with gripping food, and it's attached at the top. And yes, the tips touch when closed.

A recently purchased raclette grill didn't come with tools. What a great opportunity to pick the ones I wanted. These tongs work beautifully and I'm looking forward to using them at a larger party.Pro tip: For longer life, oil well with coconut oil and a hair dryer whenever needed.
