Used them on Doug fir accordion exterior doors that ended up quite heavy. They don’t sag at all! Quite impressed. I know it seems like a small thing but the countersinking on the screw holes is a little bit shallow so it was hard to find a good 3” screw that seated flush but other than that they are great. The soft close is nice, makes moving heavier doors feel smoother somehow, but not really enough to hold something against wind. Good quality finish! A step above Home Depot’s offerings to be sure. Buy with confidence!

I used these for a heavy custom twin gate and they work extremely well. I am a block from a large body of salt water and get salty mist regularly and after months, not a spec of rust. (And yes, lower grade stainless will rust in salt water environments). I saw someone complain about the quality of screw. Stainless is softer than the standard zinc coated so you have to use the right sized phillips bit and it is best to predrill the holes. I use a centering bit for hinges...they aren't expensive and work extremely well.

Installed on exterior doors of a workshop. So far they are working well. Very smooth operation. Go added security I used longer screws. The black finish was not scratched during installation.

These are super durable and high quality hinges. I have 150lb. doors and these are holding up very well. The ball bearings are doing their job perfectly. Make sure you predrill holes for your screws.
