This is a sweet little gift for any Hello Kittie fan (and if you're a fan like me, from the 80s) its great to see it back in fashion. The necklace is well made, instantly recognisable and has a little bit of bling but not too much ! Its been a bit basically presented (it would have been nicer in a gift box) but for the money its very good value and I'll be transferring it into a gift box before giving as a present to another younger Hello Kittie fan ! The clasp is large and easy to see and use, the pendant is not scratchy on the back and the chain is thin, but with carefully handling (no pulling or yanking) will be fine. Five stars for the money and design !

When I ordered this item, I wasn’t expecting much for the current price of only £6.99. Now that it’s arrived I quite happy with it, it is a fun piece of costume jewellery for occasional wear. Really don’t think it’s official Hello Kitty merchandise yet if has that familiar shape. It cute and should delight any Hello Kitty fan. The quality is good enough for the price, the cz stones are on the cheaper side and don’t have much sparkle but they will do. What does annoy me is that in the product description it states “High Quality Material This Hello Kitty necklace is made of high-quality sterling silver”. This is not Sterling Silver. It isn’t stamped with 925 stamp and as one reviewer has already pointed out it attaches to a magnet. Also, there is no way that they could sell this for only £6.99 were it made of real silver. I really think that the consumer should be informed what metal a piece of jewellery is made of especially if for those who suffer from allergies and definitely should not be misled.

This necklace is really cute, and the quality gives no cause for complaint. The chain is fairly delicate (you need to watch for it tangling if put away without care), but still feels to have some strength. The Kitty face measures almost 2cm across, and includes both a bow and a flower that are set with small crystals that reflect light well (they lit up well when I took a photo with flash). At the current £6.99 price point it's a lovely first 'real' piece for the young lady in your life.
