Keene Harmony TV Headphone Amplifier HHAMP

I bought this amplifier primarily because it has a remote control unit. This allows the Headphone amplifier to be mounted in the TV stand connected to the monitor output of a HiFi unit used for TV and other sound sources. The HiFi is connected to the Headphone output of the TV, which mutes the TV speakers, giving a much better sound quality from the HiFi speakers than the TV speakers. I bought a 5m headphone extension lead to run around the room to my chair, ridiculously cheaply from another Amazon supplier. I wear hearing aids and this arrangement allows me to adjust the sound level without affecting other people in the room. When listening to music I discard my hearing aids and just use the headphones. The sound quality is so much better than listening using using digital hearing aids. I am absolutely delighted with this product and would recommend it to anyone. Although this is not the cheapest option on the market the benefit of the remote control make it a good buy.

I use this to allow independent volume to be used on headphones while listening to the TV via CA outputs. Works well and remote control allows adjustment of Volume. Have to swap leads to Blueray player output to listen to DVD output.
