After much research, I decided to try these chlorella tablets. They are easy to swallow. I split the serving size and do 6 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon. I decided on these for the health benefits of protein, amino acids, and more.

As l age l notice more aches and pains. When l take chlorella tablets l notice that the aches and pains are less.

I purchased this Sunlit Best USDA Organic Premium Chlorella Tablet because I have to have frequent MRIs with a heavy metal contrast that can build up over time in the body. After researching natural ways to chelate heavy metals from the body , Chlorella kept coming up in many websites. I wanted something organic and non GMO and like to support small businesses. Currently I am on my second bag and without a blood test it’s too early to know if it is effective in chelating yet but these tablets are so much easier to ingest than the powders I previously used and I seem to be sleeping a bit better, probably because of the magnesium. The tablets can be swallowed or chewed and do not taste bad. Chlorella is also said to support immunity as well as having other health benefits.

I emailed the company directly (on their website) before buying, to ask if they include oxygen absorbers in their packaging (for preserving freshness/protecting sensitive nutrients). They said "no" they do not include any oxygen absorbers, nothing in the packaging to preserve product. So, i proceeded with caution, and purchased 1 bag to test. It is well known that when you turn something into a powder form, it is highly susceptible to oxygen and spoiling easily, if it isn't packaged with oxygen absorbers. I don't understand why so few chlorella powder sellers buy high quality chlorella (pyrenoidosa) from Taiwan, and then repackage it (under their company label) without oxygen absorber protection. Makes zero sense. Would not recommend this product. High quality chlorella (that is fresh, nutrient dense and has it's chlorophyll content still intact) is supposed to be dark green. What i received was light green (and clumpy). That's usually a sign of chlorella that has degraded and/or exposed to too much oxygen (rancid). I have been consuming chlorella for 20 years, and it is always dark green, fine powder, and packaged with oxygen absorbers. Some companies even go the extra mile and package in dark glass (for more protection). I have a side-by-side comparison of another company that sells Taiwan pyrenoidosa chlorella powder, and the powder is dark green full of chlorophyll and not clumpy (like it should be). There is a company I've found recently (from the UK) that sells extremely high quality Taiwan chlorella, and ships to all countries. They use oxygen absorbers and ship very quickly. I won't put their name, but you can easily find them (if you are looking for high quality chlorella, etc).
