Miso Tasty Organic Shiro White Miso Cooking Paste - 200g (0.44lbs)

I’m not Asian so idk how god this is to Asian standards, but it works well in our home, we love to make miso soups weekly.

Made an excellent pasta dish tonight which included this product. Must be honest I have no experience with this item. Arrived in perfect condition and I look forward to many other vegetarian dishes that include white miso.

Love the product, but it arrived smashed and I cant get an RMA

When I opened the package, I could smell the strong odor of miso. The jar lid had prying marks on it where someone had forced the lid to open. Then they added a small piece of tape on the lid to apparently try to make me think that it was an original piece of tape placed on there by the manufacturer. The miso was spoiled and smelled disgusting. I will return it and never order it again. I did not like even giving this product one star.

Best thing about this is that you don’t have to buy so much that it goes to waste. Used it to make a butter for sautéed fish. The result was tasty.

I first saw this for a recipe on "Jamie's Five Ingredient Meals" and ordered a jar when I couldn't find it in any of the local supermarkets (not even Wegmans). I just ordered a second jar - this is an awesome condiment and I will keep it on hand from now on. You can buy progressively stronger-flavored Miso (same brand) but I prefer this - it's not too overwhelming. Try it slathered on a fresh tuna steak, dipped in sesame seeds and seared for 2+ minutes per side. Amazing.

Product arrived a tan color almost brown not sure this is fresh.

It is said that red miso would be better for miso soup and after own taste i shall say yes it is so. The jar is lovely.

Love this product. Great umami taste. I add it to my soups and sauces and get a great depth of flavour. Great purchase!

I’d give it a 5 if the packaging was more protected from sun. I feel as if it got damaged from exposure now I am not familiar with the product… but I’m sure from these photo reviews it doesn’t look brown.

This miso is great for soups and for flavoring other foods. I also use it to enhance the flavor of homemade vegan cheese
