Birthday gift for my father in his 70s. Absolutely loved it. Says there is a lot of photos in the book some of which have never been seen before , even to him. Thoroughly enjoying it so far, so we will cal it a success and well worth recommending so can’t go lower than 5* at this point

I bought this for a 100th Birthday present for a gentleman who had served in the RAF. When the book arrived, it was in a small paperback, so I opted to purchase a large, colour hardback book from Waterstones. However, this book is not be to dismissed! It's a great option if you aren't looking for a 'coffee table' book, but wish to have memories of our fabulous men & women of the RAF!

My dad served in the RAF and was delighted to receive this as a birthday present. The photographs are first rate, and rare.

A small book (abut 7 by 7 inches), this offers a fine gallery of photos (many of them uncommon) commemorating the RAF's 100th anniversary in April 2018. As might be expected, numerous other publications have commemorated the centennial, many of them more varied and substantial. As is made clear on the copyright page, this serves as a small catalog of images that one can buy in larger formats.
