Perfect fit. I did replace go stock gasket with an updated gasket.

Solved my coolant leak, but on my encore you have to take water pump off also, so replacing that also, works great

4/5 given I had to buy a gasket. The one it came with will definitely melt. Otherwise this is a great replacement for the existing plastic thermostat.

I bought this metal part because the OEM plastic part deteriorated after 10 years of service. Bummer is the metal/aftermarket part began leaking after only a few weeks from what appears to be a failed/melted seal. The sensor connector clocking was also 180 degrees off which required some repositioning/routing of the wiring harness (no big deal). I debated replacing the seal with an OEM part in order to keep the metal housing, but opted to replac the entire housing with the OEM part. Hoping to get 10 more years of service out of this one...

The part itself was good but the seal was terrible! It basically melted within a couple days. If you’re willing to purchase a better seal this is worth it but the seal is TRASH!!
