I am a 5'4 150lb male in my mid 50's.I'd really let myself get out of shape in the past several years , but I had managed to not gain much weight.I wanted to start a fitness routine, and the Bulgarian Bag looked really interesting to me.I was on the fence between the 22 lbs and 26 lbs version.I got the 22 lbs one and am glad I did.I think the 26 lbs would be okay for me for basic exercises (e.g. hammer curls and shoulder presses), but I think 26 lbs would be too much for me for the advanced ones (e.g. spins and snatches).I work out with my bag almost every day for 30 minutes.It's good for legs as well as upper body exercises.I think it's way more fun to use than iron weights.The bag is extremely well made and looks like it will last a long time.

Well made a good workout but if your novice like I was but you have a decent amount of strength I would go ahead and get the 26 lb I bought the 22 cuz I knew I was out of shape. I got the all leather which I think is the more expensive I wish the price was a little cheaper cuz if you get used to it you would want to go up and weight that can get mighty expensive. Overall I think it's a good workout

I am not really experienced, middle aged, don't have really a good exercise routine, recently due to job requirements- sedentary lifestyle, and have some social anxiety.. I mean I have some good qualities too LOLAnyways- this Bulgarian bag is such a versatile tool - I am really glad I bought it after "stumbling" on video and reading reviews. There's such a variety of exercises - I've found ones that I can do! I agree - it can be "second breath" for experienced sport-pro's there. If you’re a beginner I’d go with an adjustable one- the bag that increments from 26-37 lbs. The 37lb classic here does have more challenging grips.

Loved that it has handles for easy pick up and exercise, it weighs 37 lbs. it’s so well made and worth the price.
