I put my key fob in the pouch. When I went to start my car, it didn't . Had to take it out of the pouch. Thats proof enough for me!

With my key fob fully inside this pouch and the flap closed I am still able to unlock my Pacifica from a good distance without any issues. Keyless entry also works as if the pouch was not even there. The pouch does nothing to block the signal.Sending back for a refund.

Was going to send it back because it didn't seem to block my FOB's signals to the car.The trick is there are two pockets in the pouch. The FOB (and any other RFID items)have to go in the SILVER pocket, not the main pocket. The silver material is the blockingelement. The pouch's exterior looks sharp and I'm pleased. Deducted a star because Ithink a simple instruction paragraph included with the item would have cleared it upfor me.

On my car, I use phone as a key. The only time I need my key is when at the dealership. I bought this as a precaution in case I break down or the phone and backup code fails. I keep it hidden in the car and it doesn't sense the key unless I remove it from the pouch.

I ordered the 2 pack but was sent only one. No way to get it corrected. Very disappointed. The pouch does seem to work.

Feel safer using this product for my car key fob, Was covered about someone just being able to transfer information to their device and able to locate and start my car.
