I use this on dry heels…gently rubbing away dead skin, then finish with less abrasive side, then lotion.

I had this foot file some time ago, and stupidly bought a different make on Amazon with a stainless steel handle, and removable emery sheets. In my opinion this is far superior - it's lightweight, it bends, and although does the job of removing dead skin easily, it's gentle. If you have any problems with holding things, have pain in your hands etc, I think out of all that I have tried, this file doesn't cause any extra pain to my hands/wrist. Soak your feet in water (I use Epsom or Dead Sea salts) added to the water. If you have a big build up of dry skin, don't expect to remove it all in the first session; you don't want to make your feet sore/tender. Once I've removed the dry skin, I also use a foot scrub, but any body scrub will do the trick. Change the water, and let them soak in clean water. Dry, and moisturise well with a thick foot cream or lotion. Put socks on. I don't think I can add here a cream that I have found to work well, but it's for Working Hands, but they do a cream for feet, in a cream in a blue tube/tub. Works brilliantly. Hopefully you will guess the product. I trained in beauty/foot/nail treatments - I don't write many reviews, but felt this product deserves it. Brilliant price, easy to use - rinse under hot tap, and add some liquid soap to a nail brush - scrub over both sides to remove debris, rinse and leave to air dry. Highly recommended.
