Best cooked rice - no oils or salts or spices
Pricey but the best cooked rice because it is cooked perfectly with the right amount of chew, has no additives like oils or spices or salt, and is easy to heat up.

Its an instant bowl of rice that it tastes good. Try it!
Even though I live with roommates, whenever I cook a batch of rice in the rice cooker, somehow, after the first bowl I have with dinner, the rest of it always ends up going bad, which means I'm essentially wasting just as much rice as it would cost me to get a single portion like these little guys. My poor mother would be shocked at how much gets tossed. I love these things. They're way healthier than something like a cup of noodle, but super simple and you can eat them for lunch at the office where there's no easy way to make something like brown rice! Even my mom loves them and she cooks all her food from scratch. Yes, a little pricey for a bowl of rice, but considering the convenience and the fact that they're perfectly cooked, every time, its a no brainer. No need to refrigerate them, so you can keep them for awhile and not worry. Especially great if you crave rice sporadically, but can't be fussed with waiting 20 min for one bowl of rice. This is a perfect solution for anyone who is busy and doesn't have a family to cook for (think: students and yuppies), don't like the American style instant rice, and love steamed brown rice. Definitely worth a try.

Save time cooking rice
My rice cooker gave up the ghost and I haven't replaced it so I've been buying precooked rice. Nishiki is the favorite type of rice in my family. Some of us like white, some like brown, so, I buy both. You can just heat it in microwave for 90 seconds and have rice to eat. It is sticky and thick when it comes out of the microwave but sometimes that is type you want with what you are eating it with. Other times, I heat it up on the stove with vegetable broth, about 1/2 cup per container. The rice absorbs the broth and is less sticky. Often I add seasonings, vegetables, tofu, or meat to it in the skillet to make a one dish meal.

Markup not Appreciated
Love the rice and it’s convenience but the price is not reasonable. It’s double the price of what it used to be.
