I have been using The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm for a little while now, and it’s quickly become part of my daily routine. The texture is smooth and comfortable on the lips, and I really like that it’s non-tingling. It gives a subtle plumping effect without any irritation, which makes it ideal for everyday use. The hydration is one of the standout points for me. My lips tend to get dry and cracked, especially in colder weather, and this balm keeps them feeling soft and nourished for hours. Being fragrance-free is another big plus, as it feels gentle and suitable even for sensitive skin. In terms of appearance, it gives a natural, healthy finish rather than a sticky or overly glossy look. The tube is simple and practical, easy to carry around and use on the go. A little goes a long way, so the 10ml size lasts longer than expected.

Moisturising and hydrating, not sure of the taste/smell but it's okay for use. Not seen any plumping effect but it's still too early to have a say..

I'm really happy with this! This is actually my second tube; I bought one from Boots before that I'm still using, I just wanted another so I'd have one for upstairs and one to take out with me. I didn't get it for plumping, I got it for the peptides which are powerhouses for skin. I mainly use it as an overnight mask and it's still on in the morning. My lips are then smooth all day. I've tried soooo many lip balms over the years and this one is the ONLY one that seems to work and actually moisturise for hours!! Even if I miss a night my lips seem to retain the moisture whereas before they'd be cracked. I've knocked a star off for the vaseline-y smell/taste, I'd prefer it to have a natural flavouring so it would smell nicer, but if you suffer with dry lips I'd recommend giving this a go. My lips are often dry and this really helps. I can't quite believe it after all the balms I've tried that just don't work! You don't need that much as it's quite thin and spreads easily, so in that respect I think it's quite good value. It's not sticky at all either so very comfortable. I'm hoping it'll still work its magic in the coming winter months too, but I will definitely be buying again.

I am surprised to report that this really works.

I have tried this for 4 weeks now. I never use a lip balm and I have never suffered from dry lips . I bought this to see if the claims were true . Unfortunately they were not ( don’t know why I’m surprised)..It felt nice when I put it on . ( but not any different to Vaseline). After a couple of weeks no difference…except I felt like I had to keep applying it as my lips started getting dry very easily.. Now 4 weeks in my lips have got little bumps on them and they are sore and annoying.. and getting really sore and dry when not applying the lip balm as if my lips had become addicted..sounds mad and crazy .. but that is exactly what it feels like. Now I don’t write reviews very often. But for this I felt I had too….I have stopped using it . And will just go back to using my usual lipstick. Be careful what you wish for . And really look carefully at what you are buying.

Consistent use a couple of times a day and there is a distinct difference. My lips are much softer and do look plumper! I use this as an everyday balm and the coloured ones if I am going out. It is more of a thick gloss than a regular balm but looks great on and gives a lovely shine and enhances your lips natural colour.

This doesn’t plump lips at all, and tastes awful. Really bitter taste, I’ve given it 2 stars as it does provide a good glossy sheen on lips, and the price was good in the sale, but I wouldn’t say it’s particularly conditioning. I apply it at night before bed, and lips feel really tight and dry in the morning.
