Excellent Audio Quality and Sleek Design
The Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen is a fantastic audio interface. The quality is good, providing clear and professional sound for both instruments and vocals. Setup could not be simpler; it’s completely plug and play, connecting easily to the computer and doing exactly what it needs to do right out of the box. The construction is beautiful and robust, with a nice finish that makes it look great on any desk. This is a reliable, high-performing interface and a definite 5-star product for home recording.

Best Budget Choice
The Scarlet 2i2 (Gen 4) has been a great improvement from the previous gens but its still has its similar pros and cons and you need to know what exactly you want to do and what inputs/outputs you need before buying. Pros It has a great pre amp - low noise Auto Gain and Clip safe is a interesting additions that seem very helpful Air can add a nice touch to your vocals Hi res audio, supports up to 24-bit/192kHz which is great for any home studios and even for professional standards It also has a great simple user friendly design which makes it easy to use Also very good build quality I don't believe there's many cons but Limited input/outputs so you cant have complex setups No midi an issue some people have it doesn't power off when my pc shuts down so I'd like a power button but a simple fix is just unplugging it when you are done with your work if it bothers you. In conclusion the 2i2 Gen 4 is a great product with little flaws and great audio quality and user friendly features. Any potential buyers should make sure their specific connectivity needs are met and consider other models if any other inputs/outputs, or MIDI inputs/outputs are needed. So make sure it has all of the ports you need before buying so you don't have to upgrade to even more expensive gear later on just because the 2i2 is missing some features This is also great for any streaming needs you just might have to download third party software if you like to have live eq on your mic.

Great Budget-Friendly Sound Card for Streamers
I’m a gaming streamer, and this sound card has been amazing. It’s affordable, easy to use, and the audio quality is surprisingly good for the price. My voice sounds clearer and more pleasant on stream, and the simple controls make everything quick to adjust. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, low-cost upgrade!

Wouldn't consider alternatives.
Great interface! Software works well for my use. Good build quality! Mic has a super low noise floor and sounds great though it (not an audio nerd, but very very crisp). Drives my 250 ohm headphones well. The software freebies that come with are a nice added bonus if you want to play around with them!

A lovely piece of studio-quality kit
I've been needing an audio interface for some time. I have some studio-quality headphones that I wanted to get the most value out of, and when doing anything music-related, it is essential to bring out more clarity from the audio being sent to the headphones. I am familiar with Focusrite Scarlett from having used them in college, so I already knew the quality would be great. In terms of functionality, I have found that they deliver high-quality audio and capture sound well from microphones. The layout is clear and simple to understand, and compatible with many DAWs, including Ableton and Logic. For £155, I couldn't argue with the price as it does what it says on the tin. And as a bonus, they include multiple plugins you can download, which makes the value even better. However, I have got my own issues that, although are easy to fix every time they happen, it's more annoying having to keep plugging and unplugging the power cable due to Windows being Windows and sometimes thinking that I haven't got it plugged in even though I know it should be functioning as well as it's intended.

Best Audio Interface!
I'm a complete beginner when it comes other recording drums. This is is absolutely fantastic. So easy to use, quick setup. The audio is clean and clear absolutely no distortion at all. Recording to garage band is a breeze. This is the best audio interface within this price range. 6 different mixes which mean 6 band members can choose to listen something completely different.

Amazing, but with one annoying little niggle.
Looks amazing. Sounds amazing. Build quality is top-notch... But with one annoying little niggle: It doesn't have a power switch, so to turn it off you have to simply unplug the usb cable. Am I expecting too much to have a simple on/off switch? Anyway, that minor niggle aside, it's still a 5 star unit and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Came all the way from Germany to Asia, and delivery is fast as well! Plug and play type of audio interface that is very well worth it's cost for starters, and also can be connected to a Desktop or Laptop to interface with things you know you need to. A definite good buy.

Kurz: Wow! Bin schlichtweg begeistert!
