I just ordered and cooked millet for the first time, and now I am a huge fan. It tastes similar to grits but is actually better flavor and healthier than corn grits. No need to sort or rinse before cooking. I toasted 1 cup in a dry sauce pan for 5 minutes on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Then I added 3 cups of water and 1/4 tsp salt and turned the heat up to high and cooked until it boiled. Then I covered with a lid, turned down the heat to low and simmered for 15 minutes, stirring a few times to prevent sticking on the bottom. Then I added 2 tbsp of ghee and some goat milk (1/4-1/2 cup, and shredded some goat cheddar cheese into it and served up in bowls, like porridge. It was a delicious dish and kept me full for the whole morning. Can't wait to make it again!

Very organic food

I am writing this review because this is my first time buying millet and eating millet. I was hoping to find organic millet from United States but this is NOT a product of USA, its a product of Ukraine and therefore I would not buy this brand again. USDA Organic standards are harder to meet with products that are imported. If you want products that meet USDA Organic standards, DO NOT buy food that has been imported. Its NOT worth the price. I would say I had a hard time cooking millet for the first time, due to my negilence, I burned it. It is easily over-cooked. However it tasted great and I would love to add this to recipes. As I previously mentioned, would buy from a different supplier
