1/6 hp, 1625 RPM, 208-230V Trane Condenser Fan Motor

This fits also 2TTR1018A1000AA TRANE A/C. The a/c has bolts going down through the top into the motor. The motor here has studs coming up from motor through top. You will need 4 nuts that fit. You need to change the capacitor. This has a 4 MFD. The one that came off had a 5. Even if you have an old 4 just buy a new one. If you have a dual capacitor, get one that matches the compressor and the motor. Take a picture of the old wiring and put it back just like it was. If you have a 30/5 and not 2 capacitors you need 30/4. Do not touch anything until you turn off all power. Ground the capacitor before touching it too. Secure all loose wires with a tie. The one in my picture was a mess with wires hanging everywhere. Aaac Service heating and air McDonough recommends this motor. The old motor was 1675 RPM this one is 1625 close enough. This is a short motor and shaft with 42 frame fits just right. Spin the fan manually before you put power back on to insure it is not hitting anything.

Works great ! Fit my Tran Air conditioner, which is 20 years old, came with all the bolts. You have to use your old nuts, but that was no big deal. Only Other thing I noticed was one where the new one was Orange and my old one was purple, the other two wires, black and brown so I just put the orange to the purple and it was fine energized my capacitor so there was no juice in it so I didn’t get a shock. All you do is put ace pair of pliers or screwdriver and grounded, but the air conditioner works, My old motor the fan did not go around. It was seized. I was able to freeze it up and oil it, but it did the same thing last year so I decided to buy a new motor and not have that issue being that it was that old.

The motor sent was defective as the rotation was opposite the part number description. Company had good communication and provided a refund.

Would not spin fast enough to pull my AC

It works fine except the wires were different colors then on my original

Good price for the 2 blade Trane condenser motors that run at 1625 RPM. Fits the smaller bolt pattern. Not reversible.
