I don't know. I wouldn't think that buttercream would work with this because this is a mold. I used gum paste.

Q: Do I need to cut the shape pf the lace?

I did not. It’s up to you. I think it more comfortable to have together.

i have been absolutely abusing this thing for an art project and it's amazing. i'm sure it will be good for fondant too, even though i have not used it for it's purpose - i am surprised it is in still like-new condition. def worth the money!
