The bags work well
These bags are great! I don't know how I got along without them. I've even been able to put one of those Walmart roasting chickens in the big one and put it in the freezer.

Great bags for freezing or rewrapping food
These bags work great for freezing meat and I use them to reward a block of cheese once it’s been opened. The keep the meat from freezer burn and rewards the meat like it’s fresh from the market. Very seldom do the vacuum seals fail. The zipper is sometimes difficult to close so I always use the included tool to make sure the bag isn’t s closed properly before sealing.

These are ones. 'The Chosen Ones'. The ones prophesied. The ones you've been waiting for.
Update: Aug 2, 2025: Ok, so after using these bags a while, my experience is the same. They seal very very well. Maybe once I had a bag that let a little air in, but I reuse my bags, and that was only one time. And it was still better than the FoodSaver or Ziploc bags. Totally happy with these. tl/dr- Got a couple as samples in a vacuum kit I picked up. They worked amazingly. Better than any other I've tried, and I think I've tried them all. Hunted them down and bought a stack directly. I use a food saver machine. I love it, but I'm moving away from disposable bags over to solid plastic containers, one because of the environment, and two because the bags I've used just. don't. work. I've used Food Saver ones and Ziploc ones. They just don't seal. As soon as you lift up the nozzle after sealing then some air gets in and you can see the bags expand. And even those rare cases when you do get a good seal, after a day in the freezer or where-ever, the bag has expanded a bit. It just felt pointless. Enter these bags. As I said above, a couple came in a kit I bought. Very first one I used, the seal was immediate. A tighter, closer seal than previous bags I've used, and it held! It held for many days, up until I pulled the item from the freezer. Like a week or so. It might sound funny but I guess this was a low-key annoyance for me for years. Because when I saw that the vacuum held, I was floored. I immediately went and searched and found someone selling just the bags. So really it's a little too early to tell for sure, but the first three bags I've used- fantastiche! Check out my pics. Bottom right of the 4 pack is one of the bags I usually use. This exact one is pretty good, actually, but you can still see some space in the bag. And this good of a seal- this is basically as good as it gets, and I only get a seal this good maybe once in a dozen usages across all my bags. And now compare it to the blue topped bags, these. Each one is super tight. These have been in the freezer for coming up on a week. The older one was in the freezer longer, but the seal also was basically the same as it is now. So I'm amazed. Chef's kiss. Bravo! Like I said, 3 out of the lot is maybe a little early to draw final conclusions, and we'll see how they do on re-use. And I'll come back an update if anything serious changes. And I am curious about how it's made. I'm not sure I'd trust it to do something heat intensive like a sous vide. But that's true of any plastic bag, really.

Great bags , you just have to find the sweet spot to vacuum
Worked great with my handheld vacuum sealer. Now I have a small supply of bags. Great bags but you do have to find the sweet spot for vacuum sealing it is always not right in the center and you have to move sealer a bit to get air out. Great value

good value for piece count
i discovered sous vide cooking a couple years ago, it’s amazing what you can do with this, i can turn the cheapest pieces of meat into the most tender roast, or a tough roast into a juicy steak. the secret is in the vacuum bags, you seal the meat in a bag, pull a vacuum on it and depending on how warm and how long you cook it is what you get out of it, i’ve even turned a 7 pound pork loin into the softest juiciest pulled pork you’ve ever seen. the bags may be the secret, but they are also the ongoing cost of using this system, and the bag prices are all over the place. this particular set is a good value for the number of bags, and comes with a low amount of useless trinkets other sellers use to pad the total piece count. i don't know how many bag sealing clips, bag holding clips, and replacement bag valves i have, but it’s probably close to a hundred, so much that it no longer fits in a gallon ziplock. these bags are durable, and have kept meat fresh in my deep freezer for over two years. i see a lot of people say these bags (all the bags with the blue zippers and blue seals are basically the same no matter which vendor is selling them) don’t seal well, let’s look at how they work, when you use the vacuum pump on the bag, it tears a little slit opening in the blue seal allowing the air to be vacuumed out of the bag, the blue seal is supposed to be self healing by simply pressing on it afterwards, but that is wishful thinking in my book, know what fixes it and is cheap insurance? a little piece of scotch tape, that’s all you need to keep the bags sealed in the freezer, and it even stays on when you put the bag in the sous vide tank to defrost it, no ice in the bag while frozen, and no water in the bag while reheating. i’ve only had one bag leak and it’s because i dropped it on the floor with frozen soup in it and cracked the corner of the bag.

Good Product, not a gamble. for me!
After seeing more than 10% of the customers having problems, and giving low ratings I decided to seemingly 'gamble' on the product. Lke everything else in life, some of us fnd ways to see that things work the way they were meant too. Just arrived this morning. Was anxious to see how they worked. ABSOLUTELY THRILLED, I WON THE GAMBLE! Like with any other brand, both the bags maker and the vacuum maker, they all say you may have to "find the sweet spot" for the vacuum to seal properly.... even when you use proprietary bags.. 2 bags sealed with absolutely no problem. The larger bag meeded a little wiggle or two, but once I found it... sealed properly. Opened each bag and resealed it. Same routine. For a 3rd party product. I believe this is a VERY smart choice. YES, should I find I need more, I will gladly re-order this product
