This is a very nice option for the Ontario Machete. The Machete fits perfectly and is very easy to put in and take out. The Ontario Machetes are very sharp and thus sheath is well made, very light, and will protect your edge when carrying or packing the Machete. A very nice option and worth the money.

This is a heavy duty well made sheath. It is far better then the original olive drab Vietnam era sheath that came with it that was thin and shrunk till if had 2" of blade by the Hilton showing. This is a good one I just wish it had color options.

A sheath is not necessary for a backyard tool, but it is a must for field or camp carry. This is a sturdy companion for the Ontario 12 inch machete. However, it does not contain a dedicated full length edge guard. So if the blade is sharpened to a slicing edge, it appears to me that a hasty withdrawal could cut the nylon skin or the edge binding from the inside. A series of steel rivets would prevent any personal injury. With care in use, it is a good product at a great price.

It originally took some searching to replace the case for my short machete, but this case was it. This was my second replacement as the first was sliced through when I inserted my short machete too rapidly without aligning the blade. That was my fault and not any deficiency with the product. When this one wears out, I will definitely pickup another. The fit is perfect and the case is durable.

This sheath functions fine and appears to be durable. Fit my Ontario Knife fine. But as soon as it got wet, there is a lining material on the inside that seemingly shriveled up and my knife no longer fits inside. The sheath is unusable now. If you plan to use this for work like I did, where it would get wet daily from dew, rain or a swamp, I'd recommend a leather sheath. If you plan to keep it high and dry I bet it will last you a very long time.

Really nice sheath, especially for the price. only thing is it doesn’t have a strap to keep the machete in place, but it shouldn’t just fly out. Unless you’re doing some crazy jumps or something.

Excelente producto muy ligero y funcional espero darle uso rudo y ya veremos que tal su duración aunque es muy cómoda y práctica. Al menos la puse de funda de un machete tramontina campamento y le quedó a la medida. Su enganche lateral es ideal para porte en cintura con un cinturón de combate.

Buon tessuto e ottimo pezzo. nato per un machete, ho voluto adattarlo ad un Cold Steel Bushman e ci sono riuscito senza difficoltà. Spedizione veloce e imballo perfetto.

A little bit for my blade but that is my mistake. It's well made for the cost.

Fits the Ontario CT1 12 inch machete perfectly. Looks like some sort of leather or pleather lining on the inside and nylon on the outside. The grommet holes look like they'd protect the stitching well enough in use, though I can't say if they make contact with the blade. Overall, comfortable to wear on my belt making my CT1 usable in the field. My only complaint is that it costs nearly as much as the CT1 machete.
